Is anyone doing any type of Nanowrimo this year (2025). I know there was trouble and people walked away so I'm just wondering what is a good option to look into. And sure, I can just start on my own 🙄 but where's the fun in that? I just need a healthy distraction from all of that out in the world if you know what I mean. Taylor's new album was a big help.

I had cataract surgery this morning. I'm still a little too young to actually have one but it was caused from eye surgery last year when I had a tear in my retina.

Anyway, I couldn't help but get inspired by a new story idea. Maybe it was just early in the morning with a touch of hidden nervousness. But the sign in area just gave me the vibes of something futuristic. So now I've got some writing to do over the next few days to add to some writing I'm already working on .

Here was something cool to see this morning. The front lobby had bottles hanging from ceiling.

I joined an online writing class a few weeks ago and I'm just like, why didn't I do this a long time ago?! It's been the push that I needed. Such a huge difference from just watching a YouTube video and taking notes to getting one on one advice. If you have ever been stuck in your writing, consider one of those writing workshops that you might come across from time to time. I am fortunate that mine is free but I owe my teacher so much. For one, I plan on buying her books and when I get my book done, I plan on dedicating it to her. Just feels like a huge must for me.

Just seconds ago I saw a post that was so true. And of now I can't find it 😞

Something like,

If you do not write your novel you are to be cursed by seeing parts of it everywhere.

I have been writing for years. Different stories that climb in my head. I write their 1st chapter and then start over thinking I've got to get it to right 🤦🏻‍♀️ and I never do.

And I see my stories everywhere. Some new inspiration that pops out of nowhere. And then it all begins again.
