My piece made for @neardawnzine a Twilight Princess zine. I tried capturing the ethereal first encounter into the Sacred Grove, easily one of my favourite parts of the game.

while looking at actual references from the game, my process also took me into looking at the serene forest paintings by Emily Carr.

I'm not completely satisfied with the final light dappling rendering but next time i'll try tackling it differently.

Ocarina of time had such fun idle animations, I wonder how they will be animated in the remake (and if there's more!) On that note, I wonder what Link will sound like... his original OOT voice clips are iconic.
