Hands down 100% my favorite screenshot from the show is this

I am personally a Ladrien gal myself but if I was a Ladynoir person, this would be why. This moment is from The Mime, and the dialogue that goes along with it is almost as funny as the picture itself.

Cat Noir: Good thing you have friends in high places. Hold on! (uses his staff to elevate Ladybug and himself up to the sky) Ladybug: I could have done this on my own. Cat Noir: But we're the cat-and-bug team, remember? Ladybug: Bug-and-cat team, you mean. Now drop me off over there.

Like, this is what Ladynoir is ABOUT. It's not that they're dependent on each other, they're both perfectly capable on their own. It's that they can help each other, it's that they find it easier when they help each other, it's that they want to help each other. That's what makes their partnership so meaningful -- the absolute lack of necessity, but the fact that they go on and keep helping each other over and over and over because they can.

Also, the fact that Ladybug's protest isn't "I didn't want you to do that," but rather a statement of rigid independence: "I could have done this on my own." It's not that he crossed a boundary, just that she wants to do it on her own, but accepts the help from her partner nonetheless.

The Ladynoir development over season one is important, and it is 100% there.

But also I just find the screenshot and the dialogue hilarious.

YEAH MY FRIEND SENT ME THAT TIKTOK AND I DIED AKSLFAK i felt like such a celebrity lmao why does it feel so different to be recommended in a tiktok vs in a tumblr post 😂
