Isn't it interesting that Will picks all these big dick energy songs and Mack picks the soft sweet meeplin music. Where I think their actual energies are the opposite.

the thing is i’m not sure they are. yes, mack has this arrogant, borderline cocky streak to him that comes part and parcel with his birthright as the boy king of hockey. yes, will has an undiagnosed anxiety disorder and a soft, sweet side to him that’s frankly shocking to see in a professional athlete, let alone a hockey player that came up through the program. but at the end of the day, will has an inherent cool confidence, a nonchalance instilled from generations of legacy, far more charm than any one person should have, and the absolute power of knowing exactly where in the world you belong. while mack has a fundamental inability to ever be chill about any single solitary thing ever because the only way he knows how to want is with the entirety of his raw bleeding heart.

tl;dr: will is not inherently lame, he just happens to like some lame things. whereas mack IS inherently lame, he just also likes normal non-lame things. together they almost make up one (1) whole functioning person
