Random thoughts

I am depressed.

I feel overlooked at my work

For the first time in my life I "think" I am experiencing racial discrimination.

The word think in the previous sentence is quoted because I am not sure if that is actually a thought, a feeling, a reality...

I have always not felt enough for others. I have always found myself not living up to others expectations, not living up to my own expectations. My depression comes from the fact that I feel like conforming for the first time in my life, giving up, not keep chasing my dreams.

One year of this quarantine was enough! Its messing with my head...

I don't want to see/talk to my friends, I don't want to see/talk to my family. I want to be alone. I don't want to listen to their advice. I feel stupid.

Money is tight, that adds pressure to my life.

I've never been good asking for help financially nor emotionally yet I know I've stolen emotional stability from others without asking, putting an un-requested burden on their shoulders. I should apologize, but I don't want to.

I feel weak.

Tu última enseñanza

La última vez que te vi todavía te dio tiempo de darme una última enseñanza, te parafraseo "Pepe, haz recibido mucho y haz aprendido mucho, llegaste ya a un momento de tu vida donde te tienes que convertir en el maestro".

Hoy más que nunca me siento lejos de casa e impotente. Hoy pierdo a alguien especial en mi vida, alguien que cambio mi vida. Me enseñaste la que hasta ahora ha sido la lección más importante de mi vida, me enseñaste a adaptarme, me mostraste además mi potencial y como explotarlo, y gracias a ti supe que era tan capaz como cualquier otro sin importar que tan diferentes mis recursos son. Gracias por siempre. Siento una enorme tristeza, no solo por perderte, también por tus hijas y tu esposa, te van a extrañar muchísimo, fuiste un gran hombre un gran maestro para mí, un gran padre para tus hijas y un gran compañero para tu esposa.

Recuerdo nuestros viajes en carretera sin importar el destino gracias a ti amo viajar y amo manejar en carretera, no se por que hicimos tantos viajes solos, solo tú y yo con esas platicas interminables que eran más bien enseñanzas de vida, gracias por haberme querido tanto y haberme procurado tanto, fuiste la figura paterna más importante de mi vida.

Es difícil escribir estás líneas y mantener las lágrimas adentro pero no puedo dejar esto sin plasmar en algún lugar.
