Lips pursed faintly, eyes narrowing in thought. His mind wandered back to what he had gleaned about the town and it’s history, both from reading and from his lover.
“Ah yes… you are said to be long gone, aren’t you?”
His countenance brightened with curiosity anew, a wry smirk flickering in passing for he could relate. Such were the woes of immortality, at least with his experience. Though… he was uncertain if that was what this was. Tawny wings fluttered discreetly against his back as the thought crossed his mind.
“You are like others I have met, then? An Angel?”

The blonde gave thought to the other’s words. How he became what he was....was unpleasant. He could still see the destruction. But it would not do to dwell on such matters.
He adjusted his golden wings slightly and nodded, smiling wryly.
“I believe so, yes...”
