the way the thought bubbles surround the figure of iruka reaching out to mika, the way the background itself is in turmoil from the force of iruka's yearning. she sees mika as some sort of untouchable goddess figure and yearns for her pity. it really captures the catharsis of your pain being seen by someone, your entire self being bare for them. she wants to be loved in spite of her perceived ugliness. but iruka grows past just being the victim, someone to be saved. she's still wounded, she's still scarred. but she will continue to be strong and keep skating with her scars.
