I GOT A BOYFRIEND! today, we had a formal 8th grade dance and my crush asked my brother if he had permission to date me (aweee, what a man!/hj) and then when my brother said yes, my brother told me about it and I screamed with my friends, laughed and literally cried. By the time I got to the man, I was overwhelmed with emotions. Then he asked me out himself and when I said yes, we were both speechless and I was again overwhelmed and then he tells me “I’m so overstimulated rn” I agreed and said “wanna get back to this later?” He says yes and I tell the homies EVERYTHING. Fast forward, a slow dance comes on and I tell my friend to go get my bf so we can dance, but when he came to me, he said he didn’t know how to dance and I said, it’s ok and to just follow me. We dance and then he spun me! And lastly, he wanted to apologize for not being able to dance, so he called his mom and he had her get me flowers and at the end of the dance, he gave them to me! He’s so sweet and shy and I love him ❤️‍🩹

I’M THE REPORTER, THE LAWYER AND HUCK but my parents won’t let me record it at other people house. So, I offer “ok, what if they do it in our neighborhood?” Guess what? No. SAME PEOPLE WHO WANT MY GRADES TIP TOP FUCKING SHAPE WON’T LET ME GET THE FULLEST POTENTIAL OF MY GRADE. Then my parents start talking about “kids being sneaky while the parents just sends off their kid. Oh kids trying to make plans and run it by us like they call the shots, oh they just wanna hang out” NO IT’S ALL FOR A PROJECT! IT’S TOM FUCKING SAWYER. NO I CAN’T DO IT ON CALL BECAUSE GUESS WHAT? so, I told 2 of my trusted friends about it and they’re trying to help me. We plan to see if I’m even on her table of possibility to date me and see where that goes. A small sliver of me is just saying to just write a heart felt letter about my feelings and hit her with the “do you like me yes, no or no but i still wanna be friends” but I’m SCARED the thought alone has me shivering in my timbers because of the possibility of things going south and lose her as a friend too. 😭😔 I really don’t know what to do. Asl, Korean, French, Arabic, Greek. I’m already learning korean and asl, but it’s quite hard. All of these languages I have admired my whole life, I just find them so beautiful! I am SO jealous and have so much respect to bilingual or multilingual people 😅❤️

I must confess something big. I have a crush on my best friend. She’s also a girl and she’s bi as well but I don’t think she’ll say yes. It’s been pulling at me for 3 years and I’ve tried to get rid of it but I can’t. I wonder if that’s why I get a jealousy pang when she hangs out with others. I can’t confess because since when was I anyone’s type? I plan to tell a trusted friend about this tmrw at our last play Tmrw but I’m really scared. Even if it was to go well, we’d have to keep a relationship a secret outside of close friends soooo.. what should I do?
