Inspired by the rich and dark city of Yharnam, Garden of Insight: The Good Hunter's Tarot is a custom themed tarot deck featuring artwork from 11 amazing artists, and a themed booklet written by an experienced tarot consultant! Every card has been re-imagined as a character from a familiar and corrupted world, selected for their ties to the very meaning of each card.

The Garden of Insight: The Good Hunter's Tarot features 78 amazing, full color illustrations! The back has an intricate mirrored design, while the front of the card has an ornate frame, with three different metals to compliment the artwork within.

With the deck, a fully illustrated booklet explains each card in detail beside the art of the card itself. Our amazing tarot consultant even designed a tarot spread, themed just for the deck!

The tarot project I've been working on this past year into now that burned down and has been revived is finally live on Backerkit!! 3/30/26 Production Update!

Mod Doven here with an update on our current production status, schedule, and Backerkit launch!

The TDLR:

Our mod team has finalized all the project’s nitty-gritty work, including artist contracts and protections. This project remains for-profit, and unlike its previous iteration, we are making sure the team is paid fairly for all creative work.

New and improved card visuals: with the help of new contributors, some cards have been redesigned, and all front-facing card frames and back templates have been revised.

With the invaluable guidance of our tarot consultant, we’ve taken the deck’s Bloodborne theme even further and renamed both cards and suits to fit the deck’s motifs and aesthetic. The accompanying booklet, modeled on Bloodborne’s cryptic yet insightful text, will teach you how to seek the Paleblood - or any other question you might have for the cards (and the cosmos).

MERCH!!!! Which we’ll be previewing, along with the cards themselves, in the coming weeks.Our next step: while launch has been tentatively planned for May 2026, we’re still waiting to find out whether the tariff situation will impact production. In that case, you’ll be the first to know - and we’ll not launch until we’re sure we can provide the best deck and buying experience possible.

DESIGN AND MERCH In all, we altered or revised 14 cards, including introducing new characters or items to better fit the card’s meaning. Many of these previous illustrations will be kept and offered as merch upon launch. We love our new designs, but we want to honor all the hard work done over the course of this multi-year project, and don’t want those previous pieces languishing in the dark. As you’ll see in our coming previews, all of our graphic elements, including fonts and framing devices, have been changed or modified. We think you’ll find they do justice to the art of Bloodborne. In addition to the deck, we’re thrilled to offer a variety of merch contributed by multiple cards artists: from stickers to limited-tier merch like linocut prints!

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE We are determined to reasonably price this deck, while still being able to fairly compensate all artists. In light of tariffs, we put this decision on hold for a time and reached out for guidance. Several amazing people in our comments and DMs gave us invaluable recommendations, and we were put in touch with cunningAesthete and Tony from Cat's Tarot Team who is currently accompanying us through all remaining production, crowdfunding, and project management steps. We’ll be doing a separate post to introduce them soon! While May remains our target, we are keeping a close eye on the tariff situation, and will update everyone alone the way. A BIG THANK YOU In the next few weeks, we plan to publicly announce all the artists involved in the project to ensure that everyone is getting the love they deserve for their exceptional work. We’ll reveal the final design for the card's frames and back, and post sneak peeks on our main socials with links to all contributing artists, so you can check out their work while you wait for the deck. Despite the setbacks, everyone involved has truly stepped up to the plate and moved this project to the great place it’s in now. Regarding the cancellation of Yharnam Sunrise

We, the contributors of Yharnam Sunrise: A Bloodborne Tarot Deck run by Elliott Cassel as Vermilion Zines, would like to address the current situation the project finds itself in, including the cancellation engendered by the actions of Mr. Cassel.

We, the contributing artists, have found ourselves at an impasse: Mr. Cassel has refused to be transparent in his management of backer funds or share responsibility thereof, and refused to honour previous agreements in writing. These agreements included paying us, the artists, for our labour, and protecting our rights. By declining an honest, transparent dialogue, demonstrating an unwillingness to negotiate, and failing to address our concerns in a professional manner, Mr. Cassel put the entire project in jeopardy.

We, the contributors, deeply regret the situation. We apologise especially to our generous backers. We have sent a Cease & Desist to Mr. Cassel and Vermilion Zines. The artwork submitted and created by us for this project remains our own, and we do not allow it to be used by Mr. Cassel or by any project associated with him or Vermilion Zines.

We want to honour your trust and our promises to deliver, and be as transparent as possible. It is important to us that the reasons for this cancellation are clear to everyone who supported it. We had hoped that we were wrong, but started contingency planning when the situation became clear.

We are doing our best to remedy the situation and provide our backers with a stunning deck on an adjusted timeline. We owe our backers immense gratitude, and we've only come this far with your support. The future of this project will feature existing works alongside new ones. We will be as transparent regarding our production and planning process as possible, alongside providing spotlights for all our contributors, new merchandise, a preview of the physical deck before launch, and regular updates before our new and improved launch in May 2026.

Thank you so much for your understanding, as well as the enthusiasm you have shown for this project. We look forward to sharing a stunning new deck early next year.

I regret to inform you all that Yharnam Sunrise: A Bloodborne Tarot Deck -- the project I had worked on as an artist for more than a year -- imploded.

This was due to mod mismanagement in general, as well as financial mismanagement and dispute. The head mod(a solo mod) then decided, without asking us contributors' opinions, to cancelled the project and, fortunately, refunded all the money from Kickstarter. We artists were all distraught of this news, but we didn't plan to let our hard work go to waste or be used without our permission.

So, we formed a new project group in order to bring our work back to light. I myself am very tired of all of this, but my will is strong. I will help other artists see through reviving this tarot project, now without the previous mod in the team.
