ok so i want to make more rant post but i dont want this account to just turn into “i scream my head off about random bullshit that will likely not matter in the end” so i made a separate account just for that. @fxckblank check it out if you like to hate on cringe culture or just general assholes.

after a bit of procrastination i finally got some simple rules that should cover all the bases, all i need to do is finalize it and make campaign(s) for it. i may also make a video for it, but idk where i’ll put it.
And can be played with just a simple deck of cards, a pen, and paper.
RULES
a character is the person the players or the dm (hero or npc) plays as in the campaign.
if it runs out of chips they dies. your character can hold any amount of items in their inventory, depending on how its used an item can affect the playing field, and players in any way. (ie. a health potion give players new chips when drank, and acts as a hazard when thrown on the floor) so long as it makes sense it will work.
when your character does something you announce your next action, the dm will announce (unless the character is an npc) the minimum hand you will need for it to be successful (depending on the difficulty, and power of the action, and the abilities they use), and your action will be successful only if you play a hand to or higher than the minimum given by the dm. if a character is hurt the player has to give a cretin amount of chips away (depending on the severity of the injury).
if multiple people are attacking each other, everyone involved one at a time must bet chips that matches or surpasses the previous bettor (first attacker bets first), and draw the cards they want replaced form their hand, face down. when all the cards are replaced, everyone shows the hand they want to play, and the highest hand wins and gets all the betted chips. on a tie the tied players both keep the betted chips. depending on the power of the move it will need minimum amount chips to work (assuming the minimum is above the minimum of the previous bettor.).
any campaign can also have rules of its own in addition to these.
HOMEBREW RULE IDEAS
" jack of loot rule" playing a quick game of blackjack for loot pulls, like chests, npc drops, or even life saving hands.
" ace of stealth rule" pull a number of cards when you sneak some where and if one is an ace you fail.
"joker bomb rule" a single joker allows you to do anything instantly.
"regicide fights" fight now use regicide rules.
“Card of chips rule” replace chips with hand size. (goes well with "regicide fights")
