H! The name's Zinnia! What's up? My parents are Aladdin and Jasmine. You may know them as the Sultan and Queen of Agrabah. You might also know my older sister Calypso and my twin brother Cassim. ~Part of Walt Disney Kids~

Zinnico: Stargazing (Summer Theme)

Nico blushes and touches the spot on his cheek she had kissed. It tingled. He wondered if he would ever get used to that. He sat on carpet, enjoying the breeze playing with his dark locks and the warmth of Zinnia under his arm. He took a deep breath and sighed, smiling. “This is a really relaxing ride.” He commented, turning his head to look at Zinnia. He was surprised, not for the first time, by how beautiful she was. The sun was setting and the light bounced off her skin, making her appear to glow in his eyes. 

The wind blew gently against her face, Zinnia’s black hair fluttering behind her. Looking up at Nico, she gives him a huge smile, eyes practically shining with how happy she was with Nico in this moment where is was just them and setting sun over deserts of Agrabah.

“Much better than being cooped up away with all that work I bet,” she comments playfully, tilting her head down to hide her now cheeky smile.

Nico laughed. “I wouldn’t really say I’m competitive, but I do enjoy games!” He replied. “I play football, soccer, hockey, tennis, pretty much anything you can think of, I’ve either done it or am currently involved with it.” He noticed her sudden dark mood and smiled at her softly, trying to clear it away. “I’m good at everything.” He joked with a wink. “How about some cookies? What is your favourite kind?”

Zinnia’s shoulders were slumped as she looked back up at Nico, a soft yet sad smile settled on her lips. “I don’t think I’ve even heard of all those games, you’ll have to teach me how to play some of them,” she says, pulling on his hand as they reached the kitchens.

Once inside, Zinnia looked around and smiled that none of the staff were there. She assumes they must be tending to something else in another room. A chuckle escapes her. “Good at everything, huh? I like the sound of that.” She leads him over to the ovens, frowning for a moment at the counter top, knowing she couldn’t pull herself up to sit there on her own with an injured arm. “Help me up?” Zinnia asks, batting her eyes. “And sugar. Sugar cookies are my favorite. Kind of a boring answer, I know haha.”

"Wrestling champion?" Zinnia repeats, eyes lighting up at learning something new about her boyfriend. "I’d have never guessed it. Mostly because I didn’t know that was something done at schools." She goes quiet for a moment, glancing her eyes to the floor as the last thing she ever wants is for Nico, sweet and innocent Nico, in any sort of dire situation.

"Yeah?" Nico replied. "Well, I suppose it is not the most common sport to participate in. I am involved with several sports though." He grinned trying make her feel better. He looked around them, they were almost to the kitchen. He turned back to Zinnia and smiled. "So what kind of snack can I make for my beautiful girlfriend?" He asked.

"Several? My, my. I'm learning so much about you today," Zinnia sighs happily, a giddy feeling rising in her chest at much she cared for this boy. "What other sports? I never thought you competitive. Though, I guess you could do them just for the fun. Me though, I like to win!" She smiles up at him brightly.

Twirling a short strand of dark hair around her finger, she thinks about it. "You know, I've never experienced your cooking expertise. This should be nice." A shadow seems to flicker across her face as she thinks of the bad things happened, and she looks to the floor. "You good at sweets?" she asks softly.

Her warm brown eyes shone with tears as she gazed up at him, gently leaning into his soft touch, his warm hand feeling so comforting. The pain in her arm burns and aches, but being with Nico helps keep her mind off it.

A small smile graces her lips. “I can’t imagine you fighting anyone,” Zinnia admits softly, the boy whom she cared for seeming far too kind to even hurt a fly. Though, deep down, she was certain he’d do anything for her, even fight.

Nico chuckled. “Neither would I. But I was a wrestling champion at school.” He said. “I’ve done many odd sports and am quite muscular. I could fight if needed, though it is not something I would do other than in dire need.”

"Yea, feeling trapped is a lot better than this," Genie says, forcing a smile as he tries to make this situation less frightening. He reaches for her hand, pulling her up with him so they are standing on deck. Dora’s question makes him go quiet for a moment, not sure how to answer though figuring the situation they are in its probably just easier to say the truth. "They are worried about you, wanted me to make sure you were safe…which clearly you weren’t." A sudden wave crashes into the ship violently, water splashing over the sides.

Dora sighs with relief as Genie lifts her on to the deck again. She nods at his answer to his question, though she startles at the wave splashing towards her. “I’m glad they did; you saved my life. But if they sent you to bring me back, they have another thing coming. Maybe I should go inside..” She trails off, wondering if Genie will be visible to all the other passengers, and if it will matter. “Can you just tell them I’m fine?”

"I'm not here to bring you home, even though Zinnia would want me to...even if you were kicking and screaming," Genie laughs, before nodding seriously. "I'll let them know you are at least safe for now. That's all they care about you know...that you are safe while you are away."

Genie hears frightened screams for help, making all the forms of himself whip their heads around to find the source. The rain is pouring down from the stormy clouds, making it nearly impossible to see through the heavy sheets of rain pelting them. A flash of lightening, followed by a deafening crack of thunder, illuminates the area for the briefest of moments, but just enough for Genie to spot the figure of a girl dangling from the ships railing. Realizing his hold on the ships, he zips through the air like a rocket, reaching the poor girl and suddenly feeling of unsure what would be the safest approach. Putting her back on the ship might not be any safer. With a snap of his fingers, a platform appears beneath the girl’s feet, giving her a somewhat stable ground to stand while she continues to cling to the railing.

"Miss, is there a place for you to go beneath deck up there….Dora?" he finishes in a shocked voice, squinting his eyes to make sure he is truly seeing what he’s seeing.

Dora suddenly feels something solid under her feet, a platform to stand on. She didn’t feel it there before, but her panic to get back on the ship makes her not care about where it came from. That is until she hears a voice speaking to her over the whistling wind of the storm. She whips her head around, and sees the blue form of Genie beside her. “Genie?” She asks in disbelief, before realizing he asked her a question. “I-I can go beneath d-decks.. I was just f-feeling trapped i-in there. But I’ll g-go inside n-now.” She promises, her teeth already chattering with cold. Then she understands what he’s doing there; helping her out. “Did the twins send you?” She asks.

The storm is harsh and cruel, wind whipping fiercely and waves crashing violently. Genie doesn’t hesitate to steer his own boat closer to that other ship, the poor vessel taking a beating from nature. Rain pelts down, coming in fast and hard, making it nearly impossible to make anything out.

He gets as close as possibly in the rocky waters, choosing to abandon ship and fly to the ship. Placing his hands on the ship’s side, he tries and simply hold the ship still with magic for the time being, til a brighter idea made it’s way into his nervous brain. He hopes no one has been hurt, or lost to sea.

Finally Dora can’t stand being in the crowded prison of a cabin, and she rushes her way out before anyone can stop her. It’s raining now, but Dora goes to the railing and hangs on tight, immediately feeling better now that she’s able to see what’s going on. This time she stays out of the sailors’ way, watching the waves and hanging on each time the ship rocks up and down. But it doesn’t feel so violent as it did before, for some reason. She’s soaking wet, and every splash of a salt water wave hits her in the face, but it’s better than feeling trapped in the cabin.

Zinnia and Cassim are seated out on her balcony, the princess resting her head on her brother’s shoulder as they stare out into the horizon, wondering how Genie is doing in his quest to find their runaway friend. Dark, ominous clouds are off in the distance, indicating a storm must be going on far a ways. The twins silently hope it doesn’t make it’s way to their kingdom.

Meanwhile Genie is still clutching to the ship with all his might, magic coursing through his hands and into the wood of the ship, keeping it in place for the time being as the powerful storm and raging waters continue to assault the ship with it’s terrifying strength. As strong as Genie’s magic is, nature seems to be beating him out, tiring the poor genie as he helplessly tries to hang on, needing to keep this boat and it’s passengers safe. With little thought, he splits himself into more genies, hoping more hands will help.

"We both lucked out, I mean I am pretty great," Zinnia laughs, taking Nico’s hand and hopping up onto Carpet, running her hand affectionately over the soft rug. "Oh, just some nice little spot where you can see the sky for miles and miles," she answers dreamily, leaning against Nico and resting her head on his shoulder.

Nico chuckled. “Sounds great!” Nico said. “It sounds very picturesque.” He smiled and put his arm around her as Carpet took off.

"It will be the most beautiful sight you ever did see...except maybe for me," Zinnia chuckles, tilting her chin up so she can kiss his cheek. With his arm around her, Zinnia relaxes against his side and feels utterly and perfectly happy. Nico always had that effect on her.
