Seems like a special ceremony will be held in the night of October 31st to November 1st at Wahoo World.

According to the Lord of Splatoween - this balloon-releasing ceremony is done to honor the legacy of our ancestors and has nothing with summoning ghosts or anything unholy.

Attendance is, as always, not mandatory.

So, live for OCVO news - this is DJ Songbird dozing off a little. I mean, signing off. I said that, right?

LIVE FROM WAHOO WORLD, THE SPLATOWEEN BALL IS OPEN

THE MOMENT YOU HAVE WAITED FOR ALL YEAR IS HERE, AT LAST!

However, we have certains rules and guidelines; city of chaos be damned - our main sponsor wanted to make sure everything was clear cut. HAHAHA.

- Entrance is free to everyone. All donations gathered during the event will be given to our charity partners in Inkopolis and Splatsville.

- Access to Wahoo World rides is also free to all participants for the duration of the event. Remember to ride and play safely - we wouldn’t want an accident to happen. “You must be this tall to ride” signs are not a suggestion, they’re an obligation.

- Several food and drink concessions are on sight, and they will accept tickets gotten from (what’s her name. Marigold, right) Marigold’s kiosk. Crusty Sean tickets from Inkopolis Square will also be able to be turned-in.

- No unauthorizing brawling, ink-combats or other, allowed during the event outside of the already scheduled combats. Leave your worries outside.

- No jumpscares, triggering imagery or content unsuitable to kids allowed on site. Remember that this is a family event.

- Do not leave your children unattended under any circumstance. The organisation committee has several parents on it, and they would seriously curse you if you leave your kid alone.

- Alcohol consumption is restricted to the Ballroom and Pub areas, and the usual laws concerning drinking age do apply to this Splatoween party. Drink responsibly - misbehavior will absolutely end you punished by our organisation committee.

(Can the organisation committee actually curse people? That’s up in the air, but I don’t think you want to mess with it. If they successfully managed to raise children, they must be some kind of magical)

- There will be some participation awards for the whole given on November 1st, so make sure to make your presence known on social media! But even if you don’t go home with a trophy, remember that you are special and that we value every single participant.
