FINALE IS IMPORTANT HERES WHY

Throughout the show, Evan says “All we see is sky for forever” when talking about him and Connor. It’s a huge theme in the show. In the finale, however, Evan says, in the last line, “All I see is sky for forever,” showing how his life about Connor is over. It’s his own life now. His social anxiety is getting better, his relationship with his mom is getting better, everything is almost back to normal. This is so important, especially because he’s going into college. His life is about him, not some other drama. All he sees is sky. Not him and Connor. It’s the last line of the show. It makes us think about how Evan is going to be going through his life without the Connor project. He’s learned a lot, he’s seen a lot. He’s looking back at what he has done, what he’s caused, sees the good and the bad, and faces his life. He sees his own worth. He matters, even if Connor isn’t a part of his life anymore. It’s so beautiful
