Normally Mitch was not the type of guy that went to blind dates specially not when his brother and made a secret dating profile for him and just set him up with someone. Sometimes Mitch really wanted to kill his brother. So now here he was sitting at a Restaurant and waiting for a stranger who he had no idea about what looked like or if it maybe was a guy hiding behind a women’s profile, something in mitch was pissed but something was also nervous and excited since he had not been having a date for a long time, not ever since he got left from his ex for a other women that really did hurt him and made him question himself. 

Sienna didn’t know why she would actually try something like that. It was an act of desperation, after some failed dates and she doubted she’d lose anything if she didn’t try it. It wasn’t much later that someone appeared and arranged a blind date with a total stranger. She had told him that she would be wearing a green dress, in case she didn’t find him there. As she arrived at the restaurant and pushed her hair behind her ears. She looked around nervously, seeing a lot of guys sitting alone. She made a few steps closer to one of them, until a girl jumped closer and she tiptoed away. Her eyes caught a blonde guy a little too handsome-a little too off her league. But, checking the other single tables, he was the only one that left alone. She took a deep breath to gather up some courage for that and came closer to the table. “Hello”, she said with a smile. “I am Sienna. I do believe we have arranged a date, here”, her smile turned out to be a little awkward, thinking that if he wasn’t the one, she was going to be too embarrassed.

“She is turning two next months, what reminds me of getting a present for her.” he said and smiled lightly at her and then he listened to her again and nodded lightly over her words. “Yes that is true, she is always doing so many cute things, I was actually the one that learned her to use the potty and she even said my name as the second one it’s only eth but the rest is going to be there, and i’m on the way of helping her to walk she is a tiny bit slow with things but we will get to it, sometimes I actually feel like it’s my child.” he said and laughed lightly as he looked at her and then took a sip from his tea. “Then I am totally coming over tomorrow.” he told her after he had been back from the kitchen. “Now there you go let’s eat take as much as you like.”

Elle smiled. “She’s still a baby. So small-aww”, she giggled, as Ethan continued talking. “Potty training is kind of hard. We have a lot of similar accidents at the school, I work”, she widened her eyes. “Eth”, she repeated and giggled a little more. BIting her lips, trying to stop laughing, she took the first bite from her slice and smiled lightly. “What would you like to cook, if you come tomorrow? So  I’ll be prepared, I mean”.

It was just another day for Hazel at the Magazine where she had to write an article about an attack from a monster but the towns superhero saved everyone again. Sometimes she got really sick of writing about one of her friends. Hearing one of her co-workers calling her name she got up from her seat and then went to the lobby to see her friend and the towns superhero standing there, but she was with the only one who knew about his second life saving the world. Walking over to him she smiled lightly and have him a short hug. “Hey, what are you doing here.? Is everything alright?”

Last night for James was literally a blast. After flying over a high building and rescuing some kids from a crazy three-headed monster, he fell against a random car and hurted his shoulder. And that’s when he realized everything was changing, as he started moving faster, walking faster. And the flying was enough but this...?  After catching the monster and giving it to the lab for extra scientific research, he moved slowly to his house.

He woke up, shaking-even if he couldn’t admit that he was worried at some point, he decided to take some hours off work and head to talk with Hazel. Last time, his power of flying was hidden well and sometimes, he felt too much remorse for it. He walked in the magainze’s building and asked for her. He smiled widely, as he saw her- he realized  that she could calm him down a bit-if only. He hugged her back and crossed his hands together. “I just thought...that I can take you out for coffee and I know your break is coming soon, so...”, he shrugged.

Xander had kind of been looking forward for this day to come because he really needed and new assistent really bad and he knew that one of them would fit the job perfect. As one of the ladies working for him called the next in who was Juliet he waited inside his office for her to come and join him, after he saw her coming inside he smiled lightly and looked at her. “Good evening miss.” Xander told her and smiled as he pointed to the chair. “Just sit down please and then tell me a little about yourself and why you would love to get this job.”

Julie fidgeted on her seat nervously. As one of the women that seemed to be working there called her name, she pulled herself together and held her CV tighter. She walked in the office and widened her eyes momentarily, at the sight of the young man, that didn’t seem much older than her. “Good evening”, she lowered the tone of her voice and sat down. The smell of coffee on her was mesmerizing her, so she leaned in and handed him her CV, before she could start talking. “My name is Julie Woods. I’ve graduated college two years ago with honours and I got instantly in Law School. I’ve chosen to apply for this job, because...I would have the opportunity to start working around the field. Learn new people and learn about the way they work, because theory is needed only at some extent”, she chuckled nervously.

Julie felt really mad at herself that day. That job interview was something that would definitely enrich her CV and start her career, after she’d graduate Law School. It was kind of degrading to apply to be someone’s assistant, but this way, she’d meet so many lawyers that could one day help her figure out what she’d probably want to expertise with. She wanted everything to be perfect. Her clothes, her hair, the tone of her voice, what kind of perfume she’d use. But, everything went lowkey not like she wanted it to be. She spilled her coffee on her white shirt, she was cleaning up for weeks. Her hair caught a lot of humidity on the way to the law firm and she had-even it was pleasant-a coffee aura around her. She pulled her hair up in a ponytail and put on her blazer, covering the large coffee stain, as she entered the building. She moved in the elevator, after asking the receptionist what floor the interviews were and sucked on her lower lip checking on her CV. It was her first real job she would have if she was accepted, that was really close to what her pre Law major was about. She got in the waiting room, that was full of pretty girls, clean and....she started thinking, but pushed those thoughts from her head.

“Don’t be sore for that.” Andie said and looked at him smiling as she somehow could not take her eyes from him, she had to admit that he was good looking, charming and nice but all she had to do was write an article and lose him again in 10 days, that was all. “Good, because if you were I would have to go right away, but I can also feel you are not or else my immune system would have already told me so.” Andie said and chuckled lightly.

Connor chuckled with that and shook his head, looking ahead. “I’m glad for that”, he bit his inner lip, not sure where they where they heading to or what they were going to do. His main goal was to make her fall in love with him-and as much as his ego was concerned, he caught himself thinking that some part of it was already done. The attraction was already there, wasn’t it? “So, tell me a little bit more about yourself”, he said and nudged her shoulder with his, as they were walking.

Ethan listened to her and smiled. “pre-school teacher sounds cool, I love kids to be honest I used to take care of my cousins child when she was still a baby and toddler but now she is to old for having someone to take care of her.” he said and smiled the whole time as he took a sip from his tea. “That sounds lovely, I would love to see your place too.” he said and smiled as he then nodded. “Oh god yes.” he said and ran to the kitchen to get the pizza out of the oven and then came back with it cut in slices.”Now there you go it lucky did not burn..”

Elle watched him talk and found herself looking around his place, again. “How old is she, now?”, she bit her lower lip, turning to look at him, again. “Kids are...they are pretty awesome”, she blinked. “Especially, when they’re learning things and they show it off...most of the times, the wrong way. But, it’s still cute”, she smiled. “If you’re not working tomorrow night, you’re free to come”. She sucked on her lower lip as he disappeared in the kitchen and chuckled, as he appeared again. “You get easily distracted, Ethan”, she said with a half-smile, as she leaned to take a slice.

Andie listened to him and smiled the whole time, part of her starting to feel a tiny bit bad for him because of the things she was going to do with him when they first got together. “I think this is what we all do yes, we hide in our houses and not come out so we don’t meet good looking and charming guys like you because they can be dangerous for us, sometimes pretty girls fall in love easy.” she answered him and licked her lips.

Connor bit his lower lip and looked ahead, as Andie started talking. He didn’t know why he had started this. He could probably bail and let Andie’s heart unharmed. As he turned to look at her, he rested his eyes on her nose, not sure why he found that characteristic so cute on her. “We are sorry that you need to create some kind of immune system so that you can either just push us away or deal with us”, he started chewing on his lips and sighed. “It’s not my intention, though. I can assure you”.

“I am a surviver I can handle everything even you.” he said with a smile and licked his lips as he then took a sip from his tea again, this was the first time he actually did not want to get a girl just in his bed, she was really a nice and sweet girl and he wanted to just know her better. “What I do.? nothing much I am just working at a truck that seals sandwiches actually the best in town I am sure you have eaten one of them too.” Ethan said and smiled at her. “And you? what do you do.”

Elle kept staring at him and smiled lightly, taking another sip of her tea. “I may have”, she giggled. “I’m a pre-school teacher. I graduated two years ago and I’ve been working since, then”, she shrugged. She kept looking around, trying to decipher what kind of guy Ethan was. “I’m going to kick Carl off one day and I’ll invite you in....if you’d be here, of course”, she said turning to him again. “This is insane”, she widened her eyes. “Anyway...isn’t the pizza ready by now?”, she asked.

“Oh please, just wait when you know me better you will see I don’t need any secrets in my life.” he told her and smiled as he then listened to her again letting out a little laughter. “I actually thought we were a little friends, now you hurt my feelings.” she said and pounted lightly but smiled again short time after. “Sweet name Elle, i’m Ethan your new friend, and you will have to stick with me for a long time.” he told her laughing lightly as he then shaked her hand. “Now we are officially friends right?”

Elle shrugged at that, not really knowing what to believe. In her head Ethan seemed like a total player-he was so handsome and charming and friendly. She was sure he lured girls with a snap of his finger. But she had no idea why he chose her this night. “Nah...you won’t survive enough around me if you’re hurt that easily”,she said playfully. “Should I?”, she giggled a little and shook her head in denial that this was happening to her. She tapped his arm and then, leaned slightly on the table to get her cup. She took a small sip and shrugged, again. “Yeah, we are”, she bit her lower lip. “So, what do you do, Ethan?”.

Andie smiled and looked at him and chuckled lightly at his words. “I have to thank you too, normally I am not really the party girl but my friends dragged me here tonight because they think I need to get out and meet some guys.” she told him and smiled as they walked out of the house, a part of her actually was liking the thought of spending time with a guy since her collage and work mostly took the whole part of her life and she never got to meet guys.

Connor listened to her and smiled, looking around, as they got out. “I’m the exact opposite, actually. I can’t leave a party and not go to it. Sometimes, I need to relax and sit at home”, he shrugged. “So, all the pretty girls, like you,  have been hiding in their houses, haven’t they? Good to know”, he smiled, glancing at her, and walked by her.

Ethan listened to her words and laughed lightly. “I don’t have any secrets at all, not inside the apartment or outside.” he answered her and smiled lightly as he then listened to her words again and smiled. “No need to thank me.” he said and then sat down next to her as he then took a sip from his cup and looked up to her as he then listened to her words and shook his head. “No normally I don’t do that to be honest, but for you I wanted to make and exception, you are a really nice girl and we also chat outside the hallway every now and then so we are also kinda friends right.? So why would I let one of my friends stay outside in the hallway.”

Elle stared at him. “I don’t really believe you”, she said playfully. She raised her eyebrows. “Are we friends? I didn’t know that”, she blinked, feeling a little surprised from that. “You’re just my...neighbor”, she pouted, not knowing what else to say. “Just to introduce each other better. I’m Elle. Eleanor...but I prefer Elle. Your new friend...?”, she gave him her hand so that he’d shake it. After a second, she thought that it was way too formal and he didn’t seem like the formal kind of guy. In her head, at least.

Andie looked at him and waited for an answer from him, as soon as she heard it she smiled and nodded at his words. “That sounds like a really good idea, then we can always go back to one of our Apartmens at the end of the night.” she told him with a big smile on his face and thought to herself that she had found the perfect guy for her article, she felt a little bad for him but this was just how work was, sometimes you had to do some bad things to get big in business. “Now let’s get going.” Andie said with a smile and then started to walk outside the house. 

Connor bit his lower lip, staring at her. He couldn’t believe she’d end up so upfront with him and he chuckled, still in disbelief. “We’ll see”, he smiled at her and touched the back of her arm, as they headed out of the house. “Also, thanks for getting me out of here”, he looked around and closed his eyes for a few seconds, only to take a deep breath and look back at her.

Looking at her he smiled and then nodded lightly. “Alright pizza and cinnamon tea.” he said and walked over to the kitchen door. “Just feel like home, sit down or look around I don’t have any secrets here in my apartment.” Ethan said smiling and then went to the kitchen and started making some tea, while the water got hot he found two pizzas and got them in the oven. After the tea was done he came to the living room and placed them on the table. “There you go some tea, and the pizza will be done in about 10 more minutes.”

Elle was already looking around, finally widening her eyes, as he said that. “Oh so you have secrets outside of your apartment”, he chuckled, almost silently, feeling the awkwardness in her, slowly lifting away. She sat down on the couch and set her book on the table in front of her. She smiled softly at him, as he appeared, again. ‘Thank you”, she said and took the cup in her hands. She took a small sip, adjusting to the pleasant cinnamon odour and sighed. As she turned to look at him, she set the cup slowly on the table, again-next to her book. “So, do you usually do that? Find girls on doorways and lure them inside your apartment?”, she raised her eyebrows, half smiling at him.

Looking at him she smiled lightly and then nodded at his words. “Yes I do, maybe we just never meet because we always walked in other directions but tonight we got so lucky that we finally meet.” she told him and smiled, biting her lip. “Would you like to dance with me maybe.? Or maybe go some other place if you would like that? I mean it’s pretty crowded, normally I don’t like being around so many people.” Andie told him smiling.

Connor bit his lower lip and looked down, raising his glance slowly up. He still needed a little more time to focus on what he wanted to do. “Maybe, it was meant to be today, then”, he smiled softly, at her and mocked himself in his head, not sure it was completely him-acting romantic and believing in fate. He took a deep breath and turned around to look at his friends that were pretending that they weren’t looking at him and Andie. “Yes, maybe...we could take a walk and see where we’ll end up...what do you think?”.

She noticed how her friends went away from near them and just let her be alone with the situation, but she could handle it and smiled at him as she listened to what he said. “Nice to meet you.” she answered licking her lips and then chuckling over his words. “Well no, I never did that before to be honest, one of my friends was just a little clumsy and pushed him a little so I felt on you, but I guess I need to thank her for that.” Aiden told him with a smirk on his face as she was trying to flirt a little and see if he would be going along with her. 

Connor widened his eyes, listening to her in amusement. He took a sip of his drink, listening to her explanation. He smiled and couldn’t help but feel his friends’ eyes on his back. “Maybe, I’d have to go thank her, myself”, he smirked back at her. He leaned slightly closer to her. “How come haven’t I seen you around? You’re in college, too-aren’t you?”

Ethan helped her getting up and smiled at her. He listened to her words and then laughed lightly. “Then I will be making us some new tea and that one will defenetly not get cold.” he answered her and then walked with her to his apartment and then turned to look at her when they were inside. “So how about something easy to eat? like pizza and I will be making some tea, which one is your favorite.” Ethan asked smiling at her.

Elle smiled at him, feeling her heart beating faster and nodded. She took a deep breath and followed him to his apartment, still feeling that she was dreaming-she never expected she’d ever end up inside his apartment. Carl would definitely mock her, when she’d tell him. Not that he’d care anyway-after kicking her out. “Yeah, I’m fine with pizza”, she said and walked around his living room. “And anything with cinnamon is fine”, she nodded reassuringly.
