There are so many objectionable things we face daily. I suggest we all try harder to ignore stupid, mean, and hateful people, or whiney folks who think their lives are such hardship. My life is great because I have a place to stay, food to eat, and a job to do. If you have not looked around and seen people being murdered, beaten, drugged, raped, starved, massacred, infected, insulted, robbed, scammed, demeaned.....then you are not paying attention. It's not that these things are so prevalent, but that they have a good reason to complain. I understand things are relative, but some things I see people complain about online are truly petty and stupid and childish. They are the cries of an infant, bitter and whiney, offering no positive solution. Maybe you think this is one of them. But I've decided to close the tab and move on after this rant, I will do my best to avoid wasting time on them again.

I’m fairly certain I’ve never seen one of these comics that didn’t make me cry.
So many places to go, so many different ways to get there. How do we decide what to value? Has our current system been working? I don't necessarily mean our educational system. Our economic system tells us the only valuable activity is creating commerce. Some of the most successful "creators" produce nothing, but understand how to make more money by simply investing and divesting quickly at the right time. The arts devolve into entertainment in pursuit of commerce instead of a process of creating deeper understanding of our world and our place in it. The only way to change this trend is one person at a time. Not very efficient, but longer lasting. We define our reality by what we value.

Thermoception: Ability to sense heat and cold. Thermoceptors in the brain are used for monitoring internal body temperature.
Proprioception: The sense of where your body parts are located relevant to each other.
Chronoception: Sense of the passing of time. Your body has an internal clock.
Equilibrioception: The sense that allows you to keep your balance and sense body movement in terms of acceleration and directional changes.
Magentoception: This is the ability to detect magnetic fields. Unlike most birds, humans do not have a strong magentoception, however, experiments have demonstrated that we do tend to have some sense of magnetic fields.
Tension Sensors: These are found in such places as your muscles and allow the brain the ability to monitor muscle tension.
Nociception: In a word, pain. This was once thought to simply be the result of overloading other senses, such as “touch”, but it has it’s own unique sensory system. There are three distinct types of pain receptors: cutaneous (skin), somatic (bones and joints), and visceral (body organs).
