Ballet Byte: Pas de Chat Jeté - The dancer jumps off of one leg extending the first leg to the side, followed with the second leg pulling into passé so that both are suspended. The jump is landed on the first leg, with the second joining in fifth.
Tutu Tuesday: A Wili warming up backstage. The Wili’s tutus are the same ones that were worn when the current version of Giselle premiered on April 16, 1970, making them older than most of the dancers who wear them.
