A Gentleman, a Boy & a Lonely Casanova

Beating stones,

But somehow it endures.

Bruised flesh 

Tongue in wound

It stays at your feet.

You deliver the final blow. 

Enough to turn his 

Mind inside out, 

And he dissipates.

All for what?

An ephemeral desire.

A perpetual curiosity.

You broke a gentleman, 

For what, a fumbling boy 

Who wont call you by your name,

Amoungst his other toys

And a lonely Casanova

Who finds solace in the sheets.

A fleeting supernova,

Another source of heat.

And a nameless love, That dare not speak its name, For it is unforgiving Yet through silence it inflames.

Lights Upon Your Harbour

Its frightening how the closest most alive things we hold dear, can so quickly become past, a flicker of a memory we can no longer cling to. The intensity and intimacy you share together; in which you grow towards and mould around, can become distant strangers, like the lights upon a harbour as the boat pulls away. Its frightening how even the most intense, fervent fires can become fleeting wisps on the horizon, no matter how hard you try to row towards. However the love and affection once shared is never extinguished, , as you are parts of them, as well as as they are parts of you.
