The Norms Encountered I Blossom

Society teaches us rules, both spoken and unspoken:

Success means following a linear career path.

Happiness is measured by traditional milestones.

Difference is something to be hidden, not celebrated.

At first, I accepted these ideas without question. But over time, they began to feel like invisible walls. Challenging norms didn’t mean rejecting everything. It meant choosing authenticity over conformity. Step by step, I began listening to my own values instead of outside voices. Celebrating differences rather than hiding them and redefining success in terms of fulfillment, not just achievement.
