Wow ANOTHER “it’s still you” styled post??? When will this CREATURE get new material????

- I know Kris isn’t an Undertale character, but I wasn’t really thinking when I made this and also it felt kinda empty without another character, sorry-

- I actually had something else in mind for the Undertale anniversary but I got distracted by a dlc in a different fandom that came out today and I completely forgot so I didn’t have time to make anything else-

- This is somehow my first time drawing Frisk and Chara???

- Also uhhh happy birthday Undertale lol, while I wasn’t that involved in the fandom back then, I did watch a few playthroughs of it years ago before I was really in any fandom spaces. I’ve only somewhat recently remembered the that the game existed (like 2 years ago) and it’s become one of my favourite games ever, being tied with Deltarune.

Stunned. Captivated. Kris looks so cool here. Just, distinctly cool. Not sure what about them, just that they're a tough cool cat here. All grown up, is perhaps what I'm seeing, in contrast to the other kids in frame. Love the take on Frisk, their inky eyes and the heart on their sweater, and Chara's no-nonsense demeanor is golden. The color palette you chose here is just so Undertale, to me, too, and if I had to guess why, it's because the most beautiful part of this game for me was the shady pastel gloom of Waterfall. The atmosphere. This drawing has all of that.

And I love the way "Happy 10 Years" is clawed into the background. Just, really etched in there. Like graffiti on a wall, left to make a mark. Left to cry out for future generations, "Here I am, remember me." Because here Undertale is. Leaving a scratched-in mark on people's hearts wherever it happens to go, a memento to be remembered. Even ten years later, for some of us. It left a mark that can't be erased. The symbolism. The beauty. This is wonderful.
