Be careful with the stuff you install for getting around region-blocked content. For example you mentioned Hola, and they have basically admitted that they use the computers that install their service as nodes to use your internet connection to paying customers.

This means you can they accept people’s money to use YOUR internet connection. Despite this being super shady, it also means you have NO idea what activity is going on on YOUR internet connection. I know you don’t need some jack-booted mounties knocking down the doors to your log cabin because some scumbag used your internet to buy drugs or trade noods. I’m clearly not a canadian lawyer, so take my doomsday scenario with a grain of salt.
