It has been almost 2 months since Em and Ariel had their baby. Opal had orginally planned on staying at a hotel to give them their time with the new little one but ended up not leaving just yet.

Opal: "It feels like it has been forever since we have been out."

Em: "It does a feel like it. The baby bubble just kind of blurred the time."

Opal: "I wish Ariel could have come with. Are you sure it is ok that she didn't come with?"

Em: "Yea, actually Ariel wanted me to take you out for some one on one time."

Opal: "I am fine Em...."

Em: "Opal you haven't really told us or even just me what happened...You are my best friend I can tell when something is wrong."

Opal: "Em I promise I am fine. It was a long night I had a bit too much and slept it off."

Em: "I know something else happened...Come on spill it."

Opal: "Ok fine just because I know you are not going to drop it. I may have run into Cyrus at the bar."

Em: "Oh really? What happened did he bother you?"

Opal: "It was really awkward at first but, we ended up dancing together...It was kind of nice for a little while..."

Em: "For a little while?"

Opal: "He started begging me to get back with him. It made me feel so on the spot so I got made and walked away...."

Em: "That must have been a lot he has some nerve to try to push you like that."

Opal: "I don't know Em I don't really blame him for trying. I think he was lost in the moment... I was for a moment too."

Em: "Oh Opal do you have lingering feelings for him?"

Opal: "I don't, I mean for the moment it was kind of nice like it was everything I had been dreaming of back when we were dating."

Em: "There is no shame in thinking about the what-ifs. You two really cared about each. Are you thinking about rekindling a relationship with him? Do you still like him?"

Opal: "I don't know I mean I must still like him since.."

Em: "What do you mean? Since what?"

Opal: "....I woke up at his house that morning..."

Em: "OPAL you are pulling my leg...Did you really?"

Opal: "...I did I don't remember anything past walking out of the bar and calling...It was just morning suddenly and I was waking up next to him."

Em: "Just because you woke up next to him doesn't mean anything happened though if that is what you are worried about."

Opal: "I don't know I just kind of want to put it behind me and go from there."

Em: "I understand Opal I won't pick at it. Thank you for trusting me to talk about it though."

Opal: "Honestly, it feels much better to talk about it out loud. Hopefully, it will help me not dwell on it."

Em: "I am always here if you need me."

With all the excitement about the new baby settling down a bit Opal's mind began to go over the events that happened. The memories were foggy and there was not much that she could remember after calling Em.

After getting home and taking a shower Opal found out that the reason Em didn't answer was because Ariel went into labor.

Baby Jade has been brought into the world and they could not be any happier.

As the light came in through the window Opal woke up with her head spinning and throbbing. Opening her eyes she realized she was not in a room she recognized.

Taking a few moments she also realized she was not alone.

Opal (inside her head): "What.. How did I end up here I called Em..."

Thinking back she realized that it was Em's voicemail she reached.

Opal(inside her head): "She didn't answer. He probably found me passed out... I guess it could have been so much worse...ugh I need to find my phone and go home... Em is probably freaking out.."

As last call was called Opal stumbled out of the bar and pulled out her phone to get a ride.

Opal: "Emmmm, I need a ride home I can't get my app open to get another ride....I am sorry."

Opal: "Also you would not believe who I ran into. I will tell you all about it when you get me."

Losing her balance she fell to the ground. With the drinks in her system she decided to rest her eyes for a moment.

After heading to the dance floor all Opal's worries melted away while they danced.

Enjoying herself she melted into a close moment with Cyrus. For a few minutes it felt as though no time had passed between them. It reminded her of the days they sat on the phone laughing.

Feeling the moment as well he broke the silence between them.

Cyrus: "Be with me again Opal. I am here now. I would never cheat on you like that."

As he leaned in to kiss her she pulled away.

Opal: "What are you talking about Cyrus?!"

Opal: "Cyrus I don't want to start over with you right now. I just got out of a relationship."

Cyrus: "I am sorry Opal I was caught in the moment. I just ..."

Opal: "Cyrus please just leave me alone. This whole hanging out thing was nice but you pushed it and I don't think I am in the right mindset for this.

Storming away from Cyrus Opal went up to the bar and went back to trying to relax.

After her nap not working to make her feel any better Opal decided to go out and distract herself. Although she didn't normally drink she wanted to just be someone different for the night to escape her feelings.

While l sitting and enjoying her wine a familiar voice caught her attention.

Cyrus: "I have been coming here off and on and have never seen you here, Celebrating something tonight?"

Opal: "Cyrus to be honest I am not really interested in talking to you I just came here to hang out and relax a bit."

Cyrus: "I really don't mean to upset you. I was actually wanting to check on you. You just seemed kind of down."

Opal: "I am fine Cyrus....I really don't people to keep asking me if I am ok today."

Cyrus: "Look Opal I know we are not together anymore but I know when something is wrong. You really shouldn't bottle stuff up."

Opal let out a sigh.

Opal: "If you must know Romeo and I split up...he cheated on me..."

Cyrus: "Oh Opal I am so sorry. I shouldn't have picked at you about it. That is a lot."

Opal: "It's fine, I will be ok."

Cyrus: "That guy is an absolute idiot. You are amazing and always have been. I have so much regret for not showing up for you when you needed me. you just keep doing you and he will regret what he did to you too."

Opal: "Thank you for saying all that. Right now I just want to forget and move on."

Opal: "You know it has been kind of weird being able to see you in person now. Like I was expecting you to go back home after we fought last time. Why did you stay?"

Cyrus: "Well I almost did. I actually ended up just really liking the area. Like I see why you wanted to show me this place back then."

Cyrus: "Look we can sit here and talk about the past and we are both here right now but I think I have a better idea to help distract you."

Opal: "Oh? What do you have in mind?"

Cyrus: "I say we drink and dance the night away?"

Opal: "You know what? That sounds like an awesome idea...No funny business though."

Cyrus: "Of course not. It is just drinking and dancing."

With the night approaching exhausted Opal took a moment to take a nap and rest a bit to pass the time.

After arguing Opal backed up a few things and left to Em's.

Em: "We can reset up the extra room with a bed for you and move the crib into our room Opal we really don't mind."

Opal: "You both really don't need to do that. The couch is great while I work through what to do about the house. When on Monday I am going to get ahold of what I need to to get my half of the money from buying the house back..."

Em: "I know things are tight since you stopped posting but Ariel and I really don't mind loaning you some money until you get back on your feet."

Opal: "Em you are about to have a baby and that cost a lot. I will be ok. I just need to get through this weekend."

Em: "We have savings put back and I can pick up another gig to replace if we need to. So, if you change your mind let us know."

Opal: "If I really need it I will let you know. For now, I am ok though Em really."

Em: "....Opal I am always here for you."

Opal: "I know Em. I just don't know what I am going to do. I trusted him."

Em: "I know Opal I am so sorry. Everything will be ok. Things will work out the way they need to."

Romeo: "Opal I know you are made but I promise she..."

Opal: "This is the 2nd time she has become a problem. I gave you the benefit of the doubt because I didn't see it. She was in my house and all over you."

Romeo: "Opal she pushed past me in. I went to grab my phone off the counter to call the cops and that's when she started grabbing at me. That is what you saw."

Opal: "Look I want to believe you but this isn't the first time. I just don't believe you."

Romeo: "Opal please..."

Opal: "Romeo I am done. I think I need real space to think about what I want to do and I think you need time to figure out what you really want."

Even though it hadn't been long Opal and Romeo seemed to settle back into their normal lives. Opal came back from her morning Jog a bit early.

Opal: "Hey love I think I am going to just do a short jog today..."

Romeo: "Get away from me! Opal this is not what it looks like!"

Seeing red Opal didn't have much logical thought left.

Opal: "You need to get out of my house and off my fiancee right now!"

???: "Whoa what do you mean your house? He invited me here."

Romeo: "Don't lie to her I told you to leave and you pushed your way in."

???: "I am not lying! He called me and said you are not actually his fiancee and wanted to see me. You had said at the bar that your fiancee was someone else so I didn't question it."

Romeo: "I don't know what is your problem but I would never do that. You are crazy and I am going to call the police."

Opal: "I think I have heard enough. You need to leave and get out of my house."

Opal: "I really do not care who you are but never show up here again."

???: "I wouldn't believe him if I were you. I am leaving though. This is too much drama for me."

Romeo did what he could to give Opal some space to feel her feelings. After a week Opal barricaded herself in the room and only came out for food.

Romeo: "Love I am sorry if I am bothering you but I am worried. You have been in this room for a few days straight."

Opal: "I want to feel better and trust you. I am having a hard time trying to get over this."

Romeo: "I never meant to hurt you like this. I want you to feel secure with me again but I know that will take time. If I would have known that she was going to cause this I would have avoided her like the plague."

Opal: "I feel so conflicted. I am still upset but I miss you.."

Romeo: "I love you so much. Opal, You are my everything. I still want to marry you. I hope that you don't regret saying yes to me."

Opal: "I don't regret saying yes. I am just feeling hurt and scared. I want to be with you. We will figure it out together. Just please don't do that again."

Rushing home trying to catch up to Opal Romeo Found her sitting on the couch.

Romeo: "Opal I am so happy I caught you. I was worried I wouldn't make it here in time. Please Just hear me out I can explain."

Opal: "I was planning on packing a bag and taking Gizmo with me but I didn't feel right. I want to hear you out and hear your side because I didn't see it happen."

Romeo: "What Em had seen was me getting a bug off her face. That girl had walked up to me to ask me about my work. She had seen one of the paintings I had sold. I had noticed a spider land on her and didn't want to freak her or the spider. I know it sounds made up but that is what happened."

Opal: "That does sound a bit like a lie..."

Romeo: "I know it sounds made up, but that's what happened. I understand if you don't believe me."

Opal: "I don't know if I am just stupid but I believe you. Only because you have done that for me. I don't like being jealous or questioning if I should trust you."

Romeo: "I never meant to make you feel that way I'm sorry. I will do whatever I can to build the trust back."

Opal: "You know that girl told me that you tried to kiss her...It's why I feel the way I do..."

Romeo: "I don't know why she would say something like that but I will never interact with her again. Not even to sell a painting. I promise."

Opal: "I am not going to leave tonight but I think I need some time to think."

Romeo: "I understand, I'll give you some space. I really hope you can forgive me."

With many emotions swirling they both went to look for Romeo.

Romeo: "Oh there you are you ok?"

Em: "You have some explaining to do."

Romeo(confused): "Explaining?"

Em: "Don't play dumb I saw you with that girl!"

Romeo: "I have no idea who you are talking about. Opal what happened you look upset."

Opal: "That blonde girl."

Romeo: "The blonde girl? You mean the one at the bar? That wasn't anything to worry about."

As the anger pooled up Opal slapped Romeo.

Opal: "Flirting with her was nothing?! Em saw you caress her cheek. What is wrong with you? We were about to get married!"

Romeo: "Opal Em didn't see what she thought she did. I can explain."

Opal: "I can't believe you would continue to lie to me. That girl told me what you did and Em witnessed it."

Romeo: "That girl is lying and with Em it was a misunderstanding."

Opal: "Don't bother, I won't be coming home tonight. Gizmo and I are going to get a hotel. I need some space to think."

After finally getting through the line and heading out Opal was approached by a girl she had never met before. Thinking it was a fan she tried to keep her composure.

???: "Hey I am sorry to bother you but that man with the black hair, grey shirt, and jacket is your fiance right?"

Opal: "I am not sure who you are talking about."

???: "Well if it is I just wanted to tell you that he has been flirting with me all night and tried to kiss me earlier. If it was me I would want to know."

Opal: "I don't think you have the right person."

With that she apologized and walked away.

Taking a few minutes to breathe Opal finally stepped out of the bathroom. Em walked up and tapped her.

Opal: "Oh my goodness Em you would not believe what just happened to me. Some girl thought that another guy flirting with her was Romeo."

Em: "Was it a blonde girl in a black outfit?"

Opal: "Yea I guess you saw her too. It's pretty funny to think that someone thought it was Romeo."

Em: "Opal dear I don't know if she was lying."

Opal(laughing): "Haha stop you that is too funny."

Em: "Opal....I am serious. I saw him talking to her up stair while you were waiting for the bathroom."

Opal: "Em that is not funny. You are joking right?"

Em: "I wish I was. I saw him caress her cheek. I was so shocked and decided to find you instead of intervene. I am sorry Opal."

Opal: "I need to talk to him..."

Em: "Are you sure you want to right now?"

Opal: "I think I need to I don't think I can just pretend like everything is ok."

After getting a couple of sodas they all gathered at the dance floor.

Em: "Congratulations again Opal. I am so excited for you both."

Opal: "I am really excited too. I am actually going to head to the bathroom real quick."

Em: "I think I am going to get some air it's getting a little stuffy and I heard there is a really pretty balcony."

As Em went up Opal headed to the bathroom down stairs.

After getting some air Em decided it was time to head inside. Before opening the door to go in she spotted Romeo talking to someone.

Feeling off about what she was seeing she stayed outside. As she watched a knot formed in her stomach as she saw Romeo reach and touch the girl's face.

After thinking carefully she decided to tell Opal instead of storming in. She wanted Opal to decide for herself how to handle the information.

Romeo: "Hey man thanks for coming"

Gabe: "Of course, I am so excited for you both. So where are the girls? I know you had said that it was going to be a bachelor/bachelorette."

Romeo: "Yeah they are already inside."

Opal: "Ariel are you sure you are ok coming out like this?"

Ariel: "Opal I am only dancing I am not drinking and I am not even in my last trimester yet. He is just hanging a bit low."

Opal: "I just don't want you to over do it. I don't mind if we head back and watch movies."

Ariel: "You are about to get married we are celebrating. I would not have come if it was going to be too much. If you want check with him. He's trying to dance in there too."

Opal smiled and placed her hands on Ariel's stomach feeling him kick.

Ariel: "See like I said we are ok. Now go check on you man to see if Gabe is here."

After scanning the room she spotted Romeo at the bar getting some drinks.
