had this idea stuck in my head for days;
It’s 3:00am when he finally gets home, after spending a week quarantined and assessed. His eyes ache from sleepless nights, staying up either from the nightmares or from typing out his report.
It’s 3:22am when he finally gets to his shower. He doesn’t realize how long he spent just standing with his back against his door, midnight light pouring through his windows and barely lighting his way.
It’s 4:30am when he finally feels the ache in his legs, water running cold.
He doesn’t realize how long he stood still until after he’s done getting the week’s stress off his skin. Doesn’t realize until he sits on his bed, head still hazy, that it’s 4:45am.
I really like this good sorry telling in the panels
Thank you so much!! 😊
