It was great to spend some time there painting this wall titled MultiCultural Balance, a message to this diverse area of Mannheim and applicable to many situations all over the World, specially in Europe and USA.

Amazing time we all had this past July in Praires de la Mer, a sweet beach resort next to St. Tropez in France. I was invited by the great Lucas Beaufort to be part of a cool lineup for this project, painting a large canvas outdoor with the other artists while enjoying the swimming pool and having some great summertime vibes. The Lost Art of Caring Moria Refugee Camp, Lesbos Island. • Some weeks ago I had the chance to visit the beautiful Lesbos island in Greece, for a very special project by Aptarts and Doctors Without Borders The goal was to add some color to their pediatric clinic at the camp and get the kids involved. There are no walls there so in a few days we painted everything we came across with: tents, isoboxes, containers and we even created some animals to play using draft wood. Dramas aside, we all had a really good time. You can imagine the amount of thoughts that run around your mind when you’re on the plane back to your comfy home while these kids and families are staying in those conditions for god knows how long until they move god knows where. While I’m writing this, this now colorful clinic is probably attending traumatized kids, ugly infections, and really dark shit in the worst scenario. Thankfully, they are surrounded by amazing professionals willing to give their best at all times. The situation is not easy to solve, so many issues to attend here but I don’t know, I think we all have the right to live well. Try to put yourself in a situation where some gangstas were chopping heads off in your neighborhood because of your thoughts or religion. Or try to find yourself with no way to make a living at all and a family to feed up. What would you do?

‘Unexpected Dialog’ with Murone is now open at ArtCan Gallery in Marseille, France. I’m showing some new canvases and wood pieces along with a couple of installations in collaboration.

Before this show Murone and me didn’t know each other, so it was an unexpected exercise of dialog and interaction, good for stubborn people like me. Happy with how everything turned out and how Diego and Nicolas treated us, chapeau!
