Hi, it's me, Zrii. I am a female orc living in a cave in the misty mountains. I'm new to these strange internet hunting grounds. This is me, with a few buddies:

The free people are yummy, but dwarves are a bit tough to chew. Elves taste the best but they stab.

The Tower

After two nights of walking and one day of scary elf stories full of murder for shiny rocks and backstabbings and kidnapping and orc killings from Mirdraut. That Maed- Maedhr- Maedhros prince and his elvish brothers sure sound a bit orcish. Fucking elves, thinking they are so much better then us! Gahehehe!

Well we reached the tower this morning. Gran said we should wait until evening but should still attack before the sun sets. Necromancy is stronger at night. Great. That's when I do shit!

We can't see Sapthan and Duru in there, but gran and pa are sure at least Sapthan is in there. The war lord, Dagam, Gologkokan and Smakulkodar are pretty pissed about that fucking "at least" part. Lurauga and Aewlir climbed a tree to see if they can look into a tower window from there.

We are all on edge right now. The fight starts soon...

Story time

Mirdraut told us a story last day, at least we assumed it was day. Well we were resting.

The story was about an elvish prince, who grew up in some glowy place with scary trees. The the darkest boss fucking smashed his grandpa's skull in and stole his pa's shiny death rocks and his pa completely lost his shit, swore an oath and stabbed all of his boat buddys. Then he stole the boats told his half brothers to suck his ass and set the boats on fire.

The prince was on the boat and really hoped it would not get burned because his favourite buddy was still in glowy tree land. Well, fuck what the prince wanted because his crazy pa refused and burned the boats anyway. Sounds like something Dagam would do... crazy fucker.

Well the pa got himself blown up by balrogs and the darkest boss sent the prince, now king, a letter saying he wanted to negotiate about the shiny death rocks. You should never negotiate with the guy who proudly calles himself the master of lies. Well, the darkest boss kidnapped him and turned him into the screaming wall decoration the party song "The dread lieutenant's elvish wall decoration screams to loud - I can't sleep" is about.

And remember the favourite buddy? Well, he was also the wall king's cousin and he came with a big ass eagle, chopped his hand of and took him away. (I really liked that part)

Well and then Mirdraut said she will tell us the rest of the story the next day. Sad but I am tired now...

We are getting closer

Pa and grandma made a potion for me, so I will regain the weight I lost while being sick. It smelles like blood and old wood: really yummy! And I think Mirdraut likes it very much too. She keeps asking gran what is in her potion. Sadly gran does not know the words for all her ingrediants in non orcish words... fucking sucks for Mirdraut. But there is definetily some human blood in there. I saw gran harvest it from the corpses we found back then...

We are now getting close to that dark tower. Sometimes we can see it looming over the trees. Aewlir got really scittish since we first saw it and Gologkokan needs to hold her hand to comfort her all the time. Fucking funny!

The fire has returned into Smakulkodar's eyes. I can see her longing for that kill ghehehe.

We followed Mirdraut (@peasant-player) and gran into the forest. Mirdraut did some weird glowing elf stuff again and asked gran, if she still worked for the scary eyed boss. I did not quite understand what the rest of this means. It sounded a lot like elvish chants and Aewlir stop whispering in my ear! Wait, they are talking again! SHUT up Dagam!

Grandma: *giggles* Killing me! Yeah, I bet you would like that. Many would. *laughes* I once heard weird white birds close to the see scream and ever since then... the west holds some allure. Like the pain of an old festering wound that gets better when I think of what is behind the sea. The dread lieutenant has no power over me. Not that he did not try at all, but he never put that much effort into it. The war got more important for him, I'd guess. And once mother had died I had no reason to stay. My magic got stronger once I left though. It is strongest clost to water. And... what do you mean with kin? Do you know my forefathers? Do you think this Maedhros might be... related to me?

Mirdraut: What you experience sounds like some kind of sea longing, my friend, and I am sorry for the ache it causes you. If it befalles us elves we tend to sail to the blessed realm of Valinor, where the Valar wath over us, though I am quite sure orcs would not be able to go there. Though I am glad to hear that you are not a slave of Sauron the deceiver. He is the one that, together with Morgoth, imprisoned the noldorian prince Maedhros in the fortress of Angband. There they tried to break him in unimaginable ways for many years, until his cousin and close friend Fingon came to save the prince. But Maedhros was changed when he returned. Angry and violent. I... I have reason to believe that he might be your father, Virdshum. You share his hair and his hight. The magic you carry is not uncommon with the noble Noldor of old...

Aewlir: *ghasp*

Grandma: You... you found my father. *sits down, completely baffled* First you help my dear Zrii, my last living grandchild, then you heal Smakulkodar, daughter and heir of my warlord, and now you found my father? You must be a blessing send by my forefathers! Say, did you know him well? Can you tell me about him? About his family? About his magic?

... ZRII, DAGAM! AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE ON GUARD DUTY?

We meet again (in the weirdest forest ever)

Something is so very fucking wrong with this shitty forest. Even Mirdraut and Aewlir noticved it, and their noses aren't half as good as ours. The horses are long gone, Mirdraut they will find their way back, because of some wird giga horse she is friends with. I'm not going to even question this pissy shit anymore...

At leasts it's always dark in here. No burning stars, moon and *gags* sun. The elves don't seem to like that very much. And I don't like those weird ass black squirrels. One of them already bit Dagam's boot and I'm pretty sure squirrels are not supposed to try to eat orcs. (Dagam ended up eating the squrril, Ghashmal and I thought that was very funny)

Luckily we found the others soon after. At first the war lord was not very fucking happy to see Mirdraut, but as soon as he heard that she is the one who saved Smakulkodar, he absolutely loved her. He offered her the first piece of the spider they slayed, but she refused. Kind of rude, but Aewlir quickly explained that elves do not eat the giant spiders in the forest. Neh, their loss! I told the war lord that she might appreciate a warg. She seemed quite happy about that. Said something about a dog named dog she missed.

That one made gran listen up. She told pa and me to stay with the others because Mirdraut most likely knows something about her forefathers and the west. Gran fucking loves the west. Me too, at least a bit: It's where the sun goes to die!

...Well, here Dagam, Aewlir and I go evesdropping. Gheheheh.

Riding sucks! My ass hurts! My hands hurt from clinging to the mane of that horse! My feet feel weird. I want my warg back! Warg riding is much better!

And horses can't sniff out rotting wood and swanp water either, so following that magic track gran left is very fucking hard. We have to get down and smell the floor all the time, to be sure that we are still on the way. The dark part of the forest is getting closer now. The horses are fucking cowards and don't want to keep going there. So at least we don't have to ride anymore.

The smell of gran's magic is getting stronger. We will catch up soon. But it also smells of death... and the air is weirdly cold. What the fuck is in this forest?

Tomorrow we will go back to the others. The humans gave us horses, so we can be faster, but non of us have ever ridden on a horse. Well save for Aewlir, that shitling loves horses! The conversation with the kid's gran and gramps about our inexperience was very... fucking uncomortable though.

The do not believe that humans should grow up without knowing how to ride and asked if it was because of our fucking skin condition. Because that's why they think we are green and gray. Well... Aewlir wants to teach us that shit. *gags*

Gothmog and Lungorthin

🔥Gothmog🔥 First Balrog of Melkor Second commander of Angband Fire Umaia Shapeshifter

If your name's not #Ecthelion you better run, cause this very powerful Maia now changes into his beast form to serve his master.

Ever since I heard about them for the first time I was fascinated by the Balrogs. There are different theories about them, all are legit, nothing's quite canon.

Gothmog is an Umaia, the Umaiar were Maia that fell for evil from the very beginning of their existence. The Balrogs like Gothmog or Lungorthin followed Melkor and served him ever since as his warlords and guards. The Balrogs live in the depths of Melkor's realm in the sees of lava. Their beastforms were made out of rocks and fire, by Melkor's own hands and they live to destroy.

Gothmog is an explosion of physical strength and violence, before Mairon joined them, he was the first in command in Melkor's army. Brutal and ambitious he follows his masters' commands, loyal to death. The biggest and strongest Balrog of all was feared by all beings of Arda, but one legendary and brave Elf was able to defeat him- Ecthelion!

Lungorthin 🔥 changing into his beast form- a powerful and terrifying Balrog!

Lungorthin was Melkor's Balrog bodyguard and never left his master's side - except during War of Wrath when Melkor got defeated. He dissappeared and was never seen again. Some say he was killed, others that he hides somewhere in the deep with other creatures of Melkor that managed to flee.

My hc: Lungorthin was a loyal servant to his Vala in the beginning, but he secretly started to doubt him when he fell in love with Curumo more and more. He started to become jealous of Gothmog, who's Melkor's favourite Balrog and started to wonder how it could be to stay in Melkor's place …to be his own master or even the ruler of the world and no servant anymore. In the end this was the reason why he refused to die for Melkor and decided to wait in the shadows for a chance to return to the world and have a comeback with Saruman as his leader.

Hi! It's me, Aewlir! Zrii is very buisy right now. Something bad happened after we were bathing. I don't know what happened but I think Zrii and Ghashmal have a really bad fight. I can hear them screaming really loudly from my room on the other side of the human house. This of course concerned me, Zrii is my dear friend after all, but when I rushed to help her, she shouted at me, that I should leave.

That fight was really rough. They had somehow lost most of their clothes and were biting each other. It was very violent. Maybe Zrii did not like Ghashmal after all and I read the signs wrong. *sighs* I just wanted my friends to be happy! *sobbs*

Dagam says that they are very happy right know, but I think he might still be scared of the fair lady Nityatinwë... Oh I am a monster, am I not? I ruined Zrii's and Ghashmal's friendship, by trying to matchmake for them! I should have known this was a bad idea! *sobs* I wish I could talk to my dear friend Gologkokan right now. He would know how to break up an orc fight! But alas he insisted on staying with his real sister... Oh, did you know that I am his war sister, because we share a birth year and season?

Maedhros armor concept

I was working on the armor and concept drawing for @dfwbwfbbwfbwf and decided to give maedhros armor some special page :)

I based the armor on existing amor! (Henry VIII gold plated armor)

I know very fancy but maedhros was a king and is a prince so he must have some very fancy looking armor.

I added some stuff that is not totally realistic like the crown and the cloak part. But he looks great with that!

The gambersons is rather accurate and the stripes are not wonky but are stitched that way to help natural movement a technique often used in hand stitched clothing back in the day!

I did not drew a extra pic for the chainmail Hauberk but you can see a example from that in my Feanor Armor Concept

I also added on his handless arm a gauntlet that has notches for the kite shield. So that it can be easily attached and removed.

Things I would have preferred different is the chainmail Hauberk.(I didn't even drew a really long one) With full plate it is not necessary and can hinder movement but that's what dfwbwfbbwfbwf wrote in their promt

A normal chainmail shirt would have be enough ;)

Mirdraut, my scary, glowy elvish friend, told the humans to let us into the town. Then she flirted with Dagam and scared him off ghehehe. And the elves think they are not like us. Ha!

Anyway, we went to Raegwine's grandparents and at least they recognize that we are disguised as humans. On the good side they invited us for dinner. On the bad side it's full off fucking vegtables. Yuck. But Aewlir and Raegwine loved it.

The grandma was very nice and gave me a lot of awful human clothes. Dagam got his loot and is very happy right now. And then we got the bath we all were promissed. Well, it smells like herbs and is steaming hot. Maybe it sucks very hard after aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

We are standing in front of that wonky looking wood gate of the human village. They will not let us in. Dagam REALLY wants to kick the door in, but Ghashmal and I managed to keep him from doing so... for now. The men are standing right behind that little fucker of a door and discussing what to do with us. We can hear everything they say, sadly enough we can't understand a word they say and Raegwine and Aewlir are too buisy playing in the grass to translate. Fuck!

Well, they are informing Raegwine's grandparents, so we will see, if we can get into the village. But Dagam will not leave without the fucking reward. And I want just one day without sleeping on the fucking floor. I really hope that we will be let in... for them. That door does look very breakable...
