I'm just putting my thoughts out there and I know this isnt exactly what has been happening, but what if this is all just another adventure done by Caine? Like the fact they possibly didn't like him and so he came up with well what if I wasnt in the equation. Idk I think that would be a wild twist if at the end or half way through the last episode just Surprise! You're actually still stuck and you all still thought you had a chance of getting out.
