Son Lux Album Release Day!
Ahhh! Check out this little teaser for the new music video The Made Shop wrote, directed, and produced for Son Lux coming out super soon!
Working on this project felt like an actual dream team and I sort of can’t believe how cool it was: We got to work with one of my absolute favorite new actors, the unbelievably good Tatiana Maslany (from Orphan Black), not to mention the one and only Mr. Noah Segan (from, of course, Brick and Looper). My brother and co-conspirator Nathan directed, my wife (and co-conspirator) Kim produced, and on top of all that our whole cast and crew were some of my favorite friends and artists. AND the album and single by Son Lux is seriously so, so good.
The video’s coming soon, but you can get the single now, and NPR has a First Listen up now of the whole album.

Excited for the new madmaxmovie, so we made this unofficial animated gif movie poster for it out of handmade oil paintings. What a lovely day!

you should think about painting on a larger surface. I think your paintings would have much more impact if they were larger.
Thank you, I guess.
I'm 65 years old & have been playing golf for 4 yrs. The Golf Channel showers you in slow motion a lot. One time they talked about how you kept your head down & it was cool watching you. For every shot, I fight to watch the ball. Do you use anything specific to keep your eye on the ball, or does it come naturally to you? I try to picture your swing before I swing. Thanks, Brenda
Hello Brenda. I think you have me confused with the Zachary Johnson who is a famous professional golfer. I am a different, less famous Zachary Johnson who paints depressing pictures of New York and does not do well at playing sports. I’m not even very good at bocce ball, a sport which almost requires a beer in hand to play. I’m okay at drinking the beer, but not very precise in throwing the bocce ball.
Weren't you the first drummer of The Fray?
Yes.
