This is one of my first Hyunseok drawings.

As I said before, I used to be a fangirl in the shadows. I never interacted in the fandoms I liked, even though I can draw, you know? I don’t know… I just felt like I wasn’t good enough. But… BUT I always wanted to do this trend! It’s so cute!!! I really love it! In fact, THIS drawing made me think for the very first time: GO FOR IT, HONEY!!! :333 And I felt so proud of myself!

This drawing always reminds me of Gyeonseok following Hyun Ju like a puppy before the rebellion! JESUS, HE IS SO IN LOVE! GYEONSEOK, BE MORE DISCREET! YOU ARE DROOLING OVER HER JAJAJAJAJA

This drawing makes me feel so nostalgic. You can really see how much my art style has changed. I’m so grateful to Hyunseok for this opportunity for artistic growth and for the beautiful community I’ve found.

I like to think of Hyunseok as a couple who walk hand in hand, facing adversity with their love… completely devoted to each other.

In everyday life, Hyunju finds a peaceful existence in Gyeonseok’s arms and in his trust, where she can live being loved for who she is.

And Gyeonseok finds companionship and loyalty in her heart…

It’s so beautiful, the magic of living peacefully… going grocery shopping, little dances in between cutting the carrots for dinner.

In this drawing, I imagined a scene where, for the first time, Hyunju has to accompany Nayeon and Gyeonseok to an appointment with the oncologist… she’s nervous, anxious. She’s like a mother to her now… but she doesn’t really know the full process of what the child’s illness entails. She hasn’t slept well. She prepared a big bag with snacks, toys, books, and water for the appointment and the trip.

It seems everything went well. It’s time to relax… Nayeon is definitely recovering. They let their guard down. The trip is long… and between the murmur of the city, holding her daughter tightly, she falls asleep… they deserve that rest. It’s been an overwhelming day.

He embraces them with hope in that moment.

A subway ride that became a treasure for Gyeonseok’s heart. His family is beautiful.

Life is beautiful.

Since I started posting my Hyunseok art on X, I became insanely OBSESSED with the high school AU.

And I have a very cute story about how I met one of my best fandom friends!!

Around the middle of february last year, i started fantasizing about this AU… things like: Gyeonseok being in the art club, Hyunju in the archery club or something like that…

I made some sketches, some cute ideas that just popped into my mind and drove me crazy HAHAHAHA.

Just imagine it: Hyunju in a school uniform, starting to live her life like a real girl, the support of her friends, the bullying for being different, how Gyeonseok is secretly in love with her… idk, so many thoughts, so many scenarios HAHAHAHA.

One night, i was on a bus to visit a friend in another city… I was bored as fuck because the trip was like 8 hours long…

Then, on X, something caught my attention!! Someone started posting a lot of ideas about the Hyunseok high school AU… and many of them were exactly the same as mine!

(I hadn’t posted mine because I thought some of my ideas were cringe HAHAHAHA.)

That person and I literally shared the same neuron… isn’t that cute????

So, full of joy, I DMed her... and the magic just happened!!!

She’s a fanfic writer and holy shit!! The art she makes with her hands is incredible

she’s so detailed!!

Thinking about how Gyeonseok sees Hyunju as his muse is just adorable. I LOVE IT.

And as a shojo girl who loves school romance… this AU just makes me so happy! :3
