Hey folks, I'm Zackoree!! This is my writeblr to keep writing stuff seperate from my main (zzariyo) I'll post fic updates and all kind of writing shenanigans here. Used to be zzariyofuckzone but THAT gives a very inaccurate impression of this place | 25 | she/they |

Mantaro brings by the Deep Cut CD for Grizz to listen to, and, while trying to seem cool, Grizz invites Mantaro to have lunch with him. Their feelings for each other are growing to the point where it’s disgusting.
~~~
It continues. And I decided I hate writing summaries LOL
I just finished "eyes half closed" and I'm crying rn. I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!!
I love Revalink so much, and this has been my absolute favorite fic featuring this pair. I also fell in love with your writing, as it has brought inspiration to some of my drawings and many, many tears to my eyes
I'm so glad you loved it and it brought you inspiration!!! That makes me so happy that it can still do something for people even though I finished it so long ago :]
Hiiiii waves at you nicely!! I just read Ursine Musica on a whim and I really enjoyed it!! I think the pairing is very very silly /pos but it's also surprisingly well written so far. I really just wanted to tell you that I appreciate it very much and I am excited for any updates you have in store..
Hi hi thank you!!! I know it's an absolute crackship but after designing humanoid designs of both of them in the fall, I ended up shipping them and making this AU...at first I felt so goofy about it but now I'm PASSIONATE
If you don't mind spoilers I (sigh) have vids of them on my TikTok zzariyo! The older ones kind of stink but I have made videos of scenes in the AU or them just being silly by making dialogue boxes and adding voice clips and music. I've also done a couple animatic sort of things with them too
But again it's very very spoilerly so if you want to stay in the dark and experience the AU just through the fic, then you can totally do that too!!
Mantaro, even a week later, can’t get Mr. Grizz out of his head as much as he tries to get him out.
Grizz has to put on his dumb disguise to go visit one of the Grizzco locations and solve a problem everyone else is too stupid to fix. When he’s there though, there is a blackout which sends him spiraling.
A CEO of a shady company who hides himself from the world he plots to take down.
An employee doing runs to get enough money to fulfill his and his best friends’ dreams of becoming idols.
Somehow, by insane coincidence, they crossed paths.
As an awkward friendship blossoms and becomes something more, everything changes.
Grizz helps Mantaro realize his dream and makes him feel loved and protected in a way he had never felt before.
Mantaro shows Grizz a kindness he had never experienced, gives him so much warmth and love that he starts to see the beauty in the world he had hated for so long. Enough to put an end to the wicked plan years in the making.
Literally none of my story ideas come with a plot, ever. WITHOUT FAIL, it’s always just an Aesthetic, like two and a half characters, some very, very vivid settings, and a weird concept. Never plot. Not even an inkling of a plot. My brain tosses me this cool stuff and is like welp i’ll be back in 4-5 business months
Look through a solo RPG system like Tricube Tales and just plop your character(s) down into a Situation (either from your imagination or using a random prompt like one provided in the system) and let the random tables lead them on ~adventures~ ✨️
You wouldn’t believe how much potential there is for engrossing storylines just by rolling dice or drawing cards a few times.
It’s worth noting that “mystery” also counts as a problem. Why is something this way? Why does this character get up every morning and dump a bag of Snickers down the well? It’s not a problem per se, but it’s disconcerting as hell, and the reader won’t stop until we get to the bottom of it!
I decided to compile a list of my own prompts to use for future requests.
There are a total of 210 prompts.
Genres are: angst/emotional; fluff/romantic; Miscellaneous/Humor; and Scenario Prompts (the scenario prompts aren't necessarily 100% original, but are versions of popular tropes).
Requests: I prefer 1-3 prompts per request. Feel free to mix and match from other writing prompt lists as well (you can find the other prompts lists here). - please check my bio to see if requests are open.
If you want to use specific ones, or only a certain amount in your own list, I give you permission to copy them - but only if you provide a link to the original post and/or an @ credit to me. Please, and Thank you! (to that one specific person that once asked me if they could use some of my prompts, to which I said yes, but please provide credit. Only for them to block me and steal them anyway, later claiming they were their's.....🤡) lol
One night, at Pigsy’s Noodles just after closing, Tang called out “I love you” without meaning to as he left and Pigsy said it back mindlessly. It wasn’t until later that they realized what they had said, sending them both mentally spiraling; Was it just an accident, totally meaningless? Did they mean what they said? Did they mean it that way? Did they actually…?
Sandy, watching his friends avoid each other after this, decides to mediate…or, rather, ambush them.
i have just stumbled upon the most beautiful public document i have ever laid eyes on. this also goes for anyone whose pastimes include any sort of character creation. may i present, the HOLY GRAIL:
this wonderful 88-page piece has step by step breakdowns of how names work in different cultures! i needed to know how to name a Muslim character it has already helped me SO MUCH and i’ve known about it for all of 15 minutes!! i am thoroughly amazed and i just needed to share with you guys
It’s been a month since Link left Sidon at the altar to go to Revali, finally giving in to the memories of their love from over a century ago.
But this wasn’t the happy ending Revali wanted or expected. For a month, they’ve been in Korok Forest, and something beyond Revali is keeping Link there.
Sidon continues to lose himself, still unable to accept that Link is long gone and that, just maybe, he was the bad guy. Isolation draws him farther and farther away from the prince he was before everything started.
Our beloved doctor, Unathi, finds love in the most unexpected place. But will this heal her or hurt her as the relations between Rito and Zora fester and grow rotten because of Champion Revali and Prince Sidon’s actions?
All this, and something is brewing in the shadows. With Ganon and Master Kohga gone, the Yiga have been completely backed into a corner…but back a mouse in a corner, and he’ll attack a lion.
This is some unconventional writing advice, but here me out, because it's important and I don't see it being talked about enough:
Not every scene you write has to be essential to drive your plot forward. That's it. And your story doesn't need to be at high stakes at all times to be considered interesting, either.
Your scenes, that you include, should always be crucial to your story. Not important. Crucial. So, yes, it is important that your story isn't filled with scenes that don't affect or drive your plot forward, but it is also okay to include scenes in which your characters simply... exist.
Maybe it's not necessary to show your characters at work, signing papers at a desk (unless a dragon comes in and sets fire to the place or they get fired), but it might be necessary to have your characters invite a couple friends over, make some pancakes, and crack some jokes! A scene like that, while it might not contribute much to the overall plot of your story, will help bring life into it!
Giving your audience glimpses into your characters life, not only helps them connect with your characters, but it's a way for them to start caring more deeply about both your characters and the relationship between them.
Your story CANNOT simply be ACTION ACTION ACTION. Yes, it is important for your scenes contribute to your plot, but you can't forget the importance of establishing characters, as well as the world they live in and the dynamics between them!
YOUR PLOT IS ONLY HALF OF IT. If a scene is rendered useless in terms of plot development, but contributes in any way to the development of a character or relationship, it is not useless, nor is it a waste of space!
Learn what it means for a scene to be completely useless and what it means for it to be useful in terms of characterization, worldbuilding or exposition. You don't need to cut those scenes. Every scene has to serve a purpose, but there is a lot of purposes to be served.
So let your characters breathe, even for just a second. There needs to be down time. Otherwise the emotional impact you try to bring upon your audience won't come into play, because they have not been given enough time with your characters to start caring about them.
Oh my gosh. I just found this website that walks you though creating a believable society. It breaks each facet down into individual questions and makes it so simple! It seems really helpful for worldbuilding!
Heads up that this is a very extensive questionnaire and might be daunting to a lot of writers (myself included). That being said, it is also an amazing questionnaire and I will definitely be using it (or at the very least, some of it).
