otherwise known as the flash, is the fastest man alive. he was introduced in the flash (1959) #110 by john broome and carmine infantino, when he came to visit his aunt iris in central city. wally was the president of the flash fan club in his hometown of blue valley, and barry allen discretely arranged a meeting for wally with the flash, only to coincidentally recreate the same experiment that had given him his powers. for years henceforth, wally operated as kid flash: the flash’s occasional sidekick, a founding member of the teen titans, and blue valley’s hometown hero, until the events of the crisis on infinite earths demanded that he inherit the flash mantle for himself.
this list covers a comprehensive, chronological, in-continuity timeline of his character up through the present in light of wally having finally returned to his mantle as the main flash. elseworld’s titles have been ignored, as have other media such as shows, films, video games, etc. the goal of this list is to give a cohesive account of his character arc. not every single appearance is included here (see the end of this post), but this covers the most essential issues needed to gain an understanding of his character and story.

in some the flash (1959) issues, wally is only featured towards the end in a portion designated for kid flash stories, because he was often operating as the sole superhero in his hometown of blue valley. these issues will be italicized.
