i think what happened with matty is so so unfair, my religious beliefs aside, nobody as smart and deep as him deserves to be called ignorant and uneducated and told to kill himself from having a humanist perspective on religion, i think its a shame that people dont get it like he does and got offended on behalf of a “god” or a religious culture instead of feeling and being human, idk it i made sense just wanted to share my opinion with someone who kind of gets it like most the 1975 fans

Everyone asks that “what’s the differences between places internationally?” But it’s the consistency between everywhere that is more interesting. Within a week we played shows in Sydney, and Singapore, and Chicago…. and the fact that what it looks like and feels like to be a young person, at the moment, to me - we’re looking at it everyday - it’s all pretty much the same.
