biting is a love language. no i will not elaborate.
Hey overthinkers, we're gonna be okay.
“1. I don’t have a cat. 2. I DON’T HAVE A CAT.” (via brenaclifton)
you do now
Congrats on your new cat
This is how owners get their cats.
i clicked the source and… it’s a good thread:
i have never met a cat that loves shirts….
Gender abolition, but make it:
clothes sorted by body shape and style, instead of gender
removing unnecessary gender markers from non-medical documents like a driver’s license
genderless bathrooms where the stalls have floor-to-ceiling walls for privacy
abolishing gendered toys, colors, professions, hobbies, etc.
they/them as the default if you don’t know someone
And NOT:
trans and non-binary people being barred from identifying with and expressing their gender

Jim couldn’t land me in a thousand years. But you’re saying there’s a chance.
I especially love the last, because that cow is not tied, and yet they have no doubt that it will stay put, because sometimes cows are just Like That, especially after dark.
As someone that has grown up surrounded by beaches and done surf life saving, I know how the sea works. Lots of people dont. Every summer multiple tourists die here because they don’t respect the sea, if you’re going to the coast, here’s a thing I saw on Facebook.
reblogging for all of us that grew up in land locked states, then visit the ocean and are used to just plunging into a lake.
All of this applies to Lake Michigan, as well. The rips aren’t as big, but they do happen. We lose tourists every year.
Reblog to save a life!
Another note.
Rip tides are a particular problem in parts of the U.K., especially parts of Wales and Cornwall.
Please, please if you are in the U.K., only swim in lifeguarded areas and don’t put so much as a toe in the water if you are on a beach that has a red flag and no lifeguard or lifeguard station. (Some beaches are permanently red flagged). In May 2020, in a single day, two people died and a third were hospitalized because of rip currents on the Cornish coast.
(Cornwall is beautiful but something about the way it sticks out into the ocean breeds these things).
How focal length affects perspective.
also known as the reason you look awesome in the mirror and shitty in photos
This is seriously a life altering revelation

dude things like this is why it would have been so easy to believe in sea monsters before modern times - can you imagine being on a boat or sitting by some rocks and in the distance you see two gigantic fucking things emerge from the ocean.
And you just sit there and stare for a while and it stays like that, until suddenly they fucking close up and descend into the fucking depths??? how do you even process that? even sitting here watching the video is absolutely fucking absurd, nevermind what people would have thought before we understood the ocean a bit more
it just swallowed so much water too. how does it expel the water? or does it just have a tummy full of water?
