Everyone indulges over Christmas. Everyone. I’ve seen so many posts about people freaking out because they have to go for a run because they enjoyed some food over Christmas. Chances are, you didn’t put on any weight. And even if you did it would be a very small amount. Moreover, even if you did, is it really that bad that you have to feel guilty enough to go and “punish” yourself at the gym? Just for eating? Of course not! We need to eat to survive. Food is not the enemy. If you want to hit the gym for whatever reason, that’s awesome, but don’t feel like you have to just because you enjoyed your meal on Christmas Day. If you are going to the gym, don’t do it with the view to punish yourself for having that extra piece of pavlova or whatever, do it because you want the exercise. Seriously, don’t ever feel bad for eating.
