For those who don't know, on this day in 2020, the Supernatural ship "Destiel" became canon with the angel Castiel declaring his love for Dean Winchester...before promptly being sucked into super hell 🫠

At the same time, there were (false, it turned out) rumors of Vladimir Putin's resignation, and news was spreading that the Democrats were flipping historically Republican states, later winning the presidential election. These things were rolled into one big meme fest, and the rest is history.

Basically, we all had a Big Day on tumblr dot com, and the way we share news on this app changed forever.
