You sighed. Lately, neither you nor Jisung have had any time to spend with each other. Your schedules never seemed to match up— while he was on tour, you’d be stuck practicing for your next comeback, and vice versa. All you could do now was savor the little moments you shared from time to time. From early mornings in which you’d have to leave him with a kiss on the cheek before heading out for practices, to late in the evenings when he’d come home right when you called it a night.

Once every three cycles of the moon, he’d wake up early with you, and instead of just a one-sided kiss, you would stay in bed for at least half an hour more to get the most out of merely being in each others’ wake presence. And once every three seasons’ passing, he would come home early in hopes that you could help him out of his creative slump. These tiny fractions of time you spent together somehow held you together, though there wouldn’t be a day, even an hour, when you wouldn’t think of the other, long for each other’s touch, for their attention. Not even for a second did you stop hoping that someday, somehow the universe would think, “Huh, I should probably give those two lovesick kids a break. They’ve held on through all of the shit I’ve put them through. Maybe I’ll give them a few days to spend entirely with each other.”

That damned piece of stinky ass cow shit universe, thinking they own everything, that everything’s about THEM. Maybe spend some of your day doing something productive like, I don’t know, renewing our atmosphere instead of putting two young lovers through hell just for the, well, hell of it.
