your heart needs to be dealt with patience.

Losing someone you love is like losing air. It’s slow and painful, and there’s nothing you can do about it. You just watch the world disappear.

☁ = being caught in the middle a storm with them
“Is it weird that I miss stuff like this?”
Weather in the 31st century was more or lesslike something right out of a climate-controlledgreenhouse. It only rained on certain days whenrain was needed, and scientists had discoveredways to keep naturally occurring storms from...naturally occurring.
His red leather jacket was wrapped around Annie’sshoulders, and the two stood under their umbrellaas the rain poured down. Thunder boomed andlightning crackled menacingly across the skylineas the wind whipped falling leaves into action, butFry simply reveled in it. The redhead stood with aloose, blissful smile on his face, eyes closed, takingin the storm in all its glory.
Leela, Bender, and the rest of the Planet Expressgang didn’t know what they were missing, thatwas for sure.
“I haven’t been out in a storm like this for around, like, a thousand years.”

His behavior would seem strange for most people, but to her eyes, it was simply worrisome. It was her thing to always worry about everyone, but she liked to consider herself Fry’s friend, and friends took care of each other. Still, she didn’t talk just yet. Anna set on preparing a fresh pot of tea instead, a frown etched on her face, but once the kettle was on the stove and slowly heating, she took the seat right next to him and gently slid her hand into his to give a squeeze. “Do you want to talk about it ?”
A sad, almost wistful sigh escaped his lips, and he tilted his head to the side to look up at her as she moved to make some tea. Anna had been a big help since he’d found himself stranded in the strange world that was the 21st century. It had been around a month since he’d landed himself back in time, but he still felt out of place. “Aw, I dunno,” Fry breathed, his tired, half-lidded eyes focusing on his hand in hers. “I just don’t... I don’t think I belong here.”
