When you make a very large amount of money, at a certain point you should no longer be able to vote or lobby. You have more than enough to take care of your needs and the needs of your family - anything else you might be doing in voting or lobbying would be for further enrichment - which always comes at the expense of the lower class.

Israel Katz told the Pentagon that Israel will not leave the "security zones" it occupies in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza, days after Trump told Netanyahu to redeploy.
Katz's answer: "We have never asked the United States to act in our place along our borders." Meanwhile, Maariv reports Israel has begun building a line of permanent positions inside occupied southern Lebanon.

The Israeli regime has approved more than 2.3 billion shekels ($790 million) in funding for settlements in the occupied West Bank, marking a move from political support to direct financing of settlement expansion on Palestinian land. Palestinian officials warned the decision amounts to “state financing for de facto annexation.”
The funding includes 1.3 billion shekels for establishing 34 settlements and an additional 1.075 billion shekels for roads serving settlements.

Bnei Brak to introduce gender-segregated sidewalks despite Supreme Court precedent The municipality of Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv, is moving forward with plans to implement gender-segregated sidewalks on two of the city's busiest streets, Shlomo Hamelech and Ezra Street, following instructions issued by leading ultra-Orthodox rabbis. According to Israeli media reports, barriers and signs will be installed to separate male and female pedestrians, with municipal officials indicating that the initiative, which has been under discussion for several years, could later be expanded to other areas of the city.
The plan comes despite a 2017 Israeli Supreme Court ruling that ordered the removal of similar "modesty" signs in Beit Shemesh, finding the practice unlawful.
Bnei Brak, however, differs demographically from Beit Shemesh, as its population of roughly 231,000 residents is overwhelmingly ultra-Orthodox, and municipal officials said local settlers are expected to comply with the rabbis' directives.

Israeli Defense Minister Katz:
We did not ask anyone for permission to enter Lebanon, and we do not need anyone's permission to remain in Lebanon.
