Beam Sidetable is a minimalist sidetable created by Sweden-based designer Staffan Holm for Ariake. Fascinated by inventions and craftsmanship at a young age, Staffan Holm later trained as a fine cabinet maker and gained his journeymans letter. He then continued to work as a carpenter for nearly four years and founded the Staffan Holm design studio 2008 after graduating School of Design and Crafts (HDK) in Gothenburg, Sweden. This side table is the new addition to the Beam family where the T-shaped construction beam is the inspiration. By cutting the beam laterally a new shape emerges showing the beautiful lines. The side table is constructed in red oak.
