Era 3
Projected asset list pipeline.
Week 31 saw even more of the pushing of the design than the last week. Which is summarised in the three imges presented here. There was still a lot that could have been done but Era 3 was calling so we must leave the town here. Looking at it now, having taken some time away from it I am fairly happy. Though I doubt anyone who paints is ever going to be completely at ease with their work. You can always see how it could be better.
Week 30 consisted of aa lot of pushing and pulling of what was to become the final image. Altering colour and light was the maain focus. With mmore painting creeping in towards the end.
Meeting - Monday, 28th April 2014
Tasks:
Get Learning Contract formally approved.
Continue pipeline work on previouly set schedule.
Continue dissertation assembly procedures and send to Lynn for any last minute pointers that might be had.
Things went a little easier this meeting. I had some stuff done that I didn't think I would have and a generally sick feeling in my core aboutthe whole dissertation business as writing papers is a skill it looks like I may never quite understand.
So far my wrist is holding up and I'm getting more done. The project is cutting it fine but on schedule. Hand in will occur.
And I think my brain might fall out of my head. But that's ridiculous.
Meeting - Tuesday, 22nd April 2014
Tasks:
Follow the structured list of tasks dicussed.
Send any remaining dissertation notes to Lynn.
After this meeting I was really low so this diary/blog post is late. I wasn't able to see how I could get all the work I needed to done after it. Fortunately my sore arm has improved since then and the doctor says it was probably some form of tendonitis brought on my holding my wrist at an odd angle for too long.
Meeting - Monday, 14th April 2014
Tasks set:
Blog
Paint-over 3D market image - rework right bank, extend left
3rd draft intro
Draw up a formalised pipeline for the tasks of the Near Future era
Decide how best to present draft dissertation to supervisor
Work on literature review objectives more
Prior to working on the layout for the markets some warm-up/exorcism was required. These images were made during this process. Some of them whilst following video tutorials.
Figuring out a good layout for the markets of the town.
Meeting - Monday, 7th April 2014
Tasks:
Explore their machinery.
Three thumbnails around city. Take best – do three test versions of composition.
Intro second draft. More lit review work.
Blog
Well, that's it. I'm sure I'm meant to say other things about the meeting, but, as at the meeting itself, words escape me. I'll just get on with it and see what comes up.
Zooming back out to get a better idea of the literal lay of the land. All three era's snapshots are taking place around the same lake I realised. The industrial era town got a rough map made for it too showing the main waterways and areas. Industry and maufacturing take place mainly where the river enters the lake due to the power the river provides and that which can be gleaned from waterflow from the hillsides. Residences and placess where food comes into the town tend to be further out on the lake and along it's shores because natural resources are more easily gathered there. The markets lie in between for exchange of goods to take place most easily.
