DRDT x ATLA CROSSOVER|AU idk actually

So um lately I suddenly remembered about ATLA and BOOM there's a thought in my head

Hey, Azula and Zuko kinda remind me of Veronika and David cuz me and my bro have a hc that they're siblings. What if I do a crossover? Who will stop me anyway?

And we're here. I just love this characters as much as I love Veronika and David. Besides, they're somewhat similar. And I found funny thing that David follows the path of character growth in reverse (from Edgy boy to good boy). Also it was funny drawing this and watching a very long video analysis on YT about every Azula's mental issues :D You know this thing about she was never loved and cared by anyone, and I think Veronika has the same problem.......... Yeah, that's rough buddy. Oh uhmmmm me and my bro also have a hc that these two have a vitiligo. Sooo I replaced Zuco's scar with it. And I added some details about it, and they're more like siblings now.

In any case, it seems to me that they are similar in their loneliness problems and solutions to avoid it. Both Azula and Veronika may intentionally try to attract the attention of others, even if this is not the most ideal and normal way. In addition, they were both considered strange in childhood (for various reasons, of course, but if Veronika (and David lol) had a similar situation in the family (and she is similar in our hc, the only difference is that their father is a cool dude), then, in principle, she could have come to a similar conclusion. And David... I've already said a bit about family and hc, so yes. He would just be a jerk at first, motivated by the desire to prove his importance to a parental figure, and then he would became chill. And God, I love this sibling relationship. Zuko and David, although they don't really like their sisters, sometimes they can't even stand them, but they still worry and care (comics killed me mentally)

Well a few days ago I made this thing, 'cause this theory just stuck in my head and we've done some things in HIYS (it was an absolute cinema AND drama). There's a full picture of their family. Actually we talk 'bout them too much in last days or maybe weeks, so we have a lot of headcanons about that all.

DAVID & VERO — SIBLINGS: THE THEORY

For a LONG TIME now (about a year or so) my broski [@be4thevortex] and I have had a small and INTERESTING theory about David and Veronika. In general, this is mainly his merit, but we’re expanding it and thinking about it together, thoooo.

It all started with the fact (that we got stoned) that we noticed one thing: Veronika and David's height was almost* identical. In addition, when DRDTDev wrote that if it wasn't too late, they would have changed the height of the characters, their height also changed in the same way. No one else's height matches that much, and if it did, it varied in uh different ways. It sounds crazy, but *maybe* it means something. Otherwise, why stick to the same characteristics?

* Bro swears that he's not that cracked to remember it wrong**, but we kept thinking that David's height was 5'8" and not 5'9" until now. ** Vortex’s note — [either it's the Mandela effect or something, but I'M READY TO SWEAR WITH MY HEART that in 2023 on da wikipage it was 5'8"!!!!!!!!!]

Both of them also have gray eyes, just with a different shade, which becomes more noticeable when David is in his itty-bitty emo phase. I also thought about the fact that the darkening of their eyes under certain conditions seems similar, but when I looked at other similar sprites, I saw that the same thing can be traced in others. But it sounds funny, dunno.

Their facial features are somewhat similar: almost the same shapes of the eyes and the nose (no matter how strange it may sound, given the drawing); jaw, as well as similar body types (as much as possible, given that they have different genders), compared to the rest of the cast.

What is more important — their ability to read people. Veronika herself is good at psychology, which has been shown more than once, as, in principle, David is not an inspirational speaker for nothing. It's funny that there are two such characters in the show who do something incomprehensible, driven by personal motives, and well versed in human psychology, isn't it?

Personally, I have long had the impression that they have vivid (or more like vevid? HA) but opposite feelings towards people (while Vero is impressed by diversity, David despises people in principle). This may not mean much, but it sounds interesting in the context of this theory.

PLUS! Their birthdays are *TOO* close. They’re literally separated by one day (August 7 and 9), which may lead to different thoughts. For example, that they’re twins who were born on different days (there’ve been such cases, so anything is possible!), or something like that. And it also does not contradict David's words that he has an “older sister”, with whom, as he remembers at the second trial, everything is fine.

Anyway, as I said, we're just stoned and we came up with this, idkh, but it sounds so smoothly. We don't know exactly how to convey this, but if you could get inside our heads and review our train of thought, you would understand.… I SWEAR we're not crazy. Uh… Probably?
