Honestly, what are you guys expecting from Megan?? She told someone to kill themselves and sent them transphobic anons because they said they were allergic to her jewelry. Or are we forgetting that

Idk anything about the first bits of that, but tbh one of the first messages I sent on my old tumblr was to whismical about the composition of the metals in the jewelry she sells. She assured me that the metals used in the items I was inquiring about contained no metal allergens.  Those items turned out to be the wholesale “crystal” necklaces available from places like amazon, ebay, and aliexpress. It only took me about five minutes of simple research to discover that those stones are set in very low quality, non-hypoallergenic alloy metals. It is illegal for a seller to (consciously or otherwise) falsely advertise the quality of the metals in their products. If a customer was to incur extreme medical treatment, damages, pain, and suffering due to a severe allergy, there would be solid grounds for a significant lawsuit. 

Idk man, I take this stuff really seriously. Allergies can kill people.

I’m severely allergic to low grade metals like nickel to the point that I have to put several layers of clear nail polish on the back of my jean buttons. If something isn’t at least surgical steel I break out in painful blisters and itchy hives. It’s awful.

This is why I don’t buy jewelry from low cost whole sale sellers. My allergy isn’t life threatening but it is painful and harmful.

Same, dude. I had to just stop wearing pants entirely a few years ago, due to buttons and rivets. I spent an entire summer covered with a weeping intolerable rash all across my hipbones. I tried every calamine lotion, anti-poison plant solution, and hydrocortisone cream, before I realized that a couple 1 cm cheap metal rivets were causing my 2 sq foot rash. 

I even get reactions through clothes, if I wear my jewelry over my collar, it doesn’t take more than a few hours of indirect contact to cause a severe histamine skin reaction.  

It’s itchy, painful, uncomfortable, and attracts shameful attention - not to mention the fact that it can invite life threatening infections in individuals who are immunocompromised. 

If a person is going to majorly markup low quality jewelry, the least they can do is be educated and honest about the composition of their materials,

Also, I am somewhat appalled at her irresponsible listing of plugs and tunnels. In most cases, she does not give a full description regarding the composition, source, or materials  in her jewelry. And, of course, none of it is internally threaded. 

There are also numerous “one item only!” listings on plugs, which makes me suspicious that they are used. For that matter, there are no disclaimers given at all regarding the source, cleanliness, or safety of the jewelry. There is one pair of “metal plugs” advertised that has deep grooves just begging to irritate small lesions, invite bacteria, and cause an infection. 

She has ONE pair of “nickel free” plugs advertised (again a one-off, likely used body jewelry). Also - first person to see photographic evidence of Whismical autoclaving her body jewelry gets something weird and stupid in the mail from me!

He’s my nephew, my boyfriends sisters bio son.

My boyfriends sister is the most selfish person I’ve ever met. After her first babies father committed suicide because of her she abandoned her older son with her mom when he needed her the most.

She was seeing another scumbag, they both went to jail and found out she was pregnant again. She was in jail most of that pregnancy, came out sober and gave birth to her second son. She was doing well the first two or three months until the dad got out of prison. Then she started leaving the baby with anyone who would take him and taking off for days, sleeping on the street, spending the night in jail. The final straw was she was staying with an old friend and took off in the middle of the night, stole her car, and left him. The lady didn’t even know he was there for HOURS.

We picked him up and he was dirty, starving, and his diaper was so full it literally fell off him when we picked him up. We found her, had her sign over temporary guardianship, and we’ve had him since he was four months old.

I love him unconditionally. I never wanted children yet found myself at 20 raising an infant with no experience. It was hard struggling with my sobriety and trying to be the best parent I could. He made me be better.

The dad is a psychopath. He was in jail for two years for robbery and assault and murdered his cell mate. He’s supposed to get out soon and hasn’t been charged with murder YET (the da will usually wait when it’s a short sentence to charge so he can’t file for time served) but he’s delusional and thinks he’s getting custody.

Basically he’s got shitty parents who should have never bred.

If I started a commentary-free side blog for people to submit their most excellent and cringey teen diary entries, blogs, and yearbook photos, would anyone be interested in submitting? Nightmarish school dance/first date stories would be amazing submissions, as well. This would be a total no-snark blog, and submitters would be totally anonymous, No nasty, just fun! Literally none of us were cool or cute in high school, anyway.

I like how Megan answered an ask about her assault saying "she left me with a black eye that I was forced to sport" like no you spent an entire month taking photos of it with your professional camera and editing them then putting them on your blog and obsessively reblogging them. **forced to sport** I also looked up arrests in the town her step mom and dad live in during the entire month of November and there's no arrest records for her or the situation that she said occurred.

It was like, a baby black eye that make up could cover. Assault is always serious but let’s not exaggerate our situations for sympathy.

Mostly agreed. Assault is serious, but if you're gonna document it repetitively for thousands of followers and not actually press any charges, like...you're basically making a mockery of domestic abuse victims by perpetuating the stigma that it's all just interpersonal drama.
