EMMA IS BEING MOVED  TO @glittergcld

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and honestly its just about time that I went through with it. Having two blogs is fun and all, having one whole one dedicated to Emma, who I love deeply… but its not being balanced out equally, and it only has been stressing me out as a result. There are other factors included, but what’s important is that in the end its going to be much better for anybody that interacts with Emma. Yes, she is going to be among a bunch of other muses… but her muse will still flourish, and I’ll be far more consistent with activity while running just one blog. 

This does not mean I am dropping any threads. 

They’ll just be moved over to the multi account. What I’m going to do is archive this account to keep it up and going for a good long while, so I can catch threads that are replied to if I don’t see them on the dash on my multi… but what I would really really appreciate is if you all mention me ( @ me ) on my multi whenever you guys have a thread posted for Emma. If not, its no biggie, it just makes my life easier is all.

     This blind date shit was sketchy. He’s known this since that low budget show was on during his childhood that blind dates never went well. But with the coaxing from a few coworkers, Rosemary specifically, he decided to take a shot for the first and final time. The only thing he was looking forward to on this venture was the shots of whiskey he’d take if it got too insufferable. Franklyn chewed the inside of his cheek anxiously, looking around the lounge and shoving the hands deep into the pockets of his slacks. He was on the brink of turning on his heels and getting the hell out of dodge before he spotted a woman that fit the description. Well gah damn. The taller man took a few, swift strides towards where the woman sat; clearing his throat to get her attention.

     “You’re Emma, right?” 

Looking up the instant she saw a male walking towards her, Emma tried to remember what her friend had told her about this man, knew that he was tall and handsome and ... well this one certainly was. Though the scar that ran along his jaw certainly had her pausing for just the briefest of glances before her gaze continued to search his face for any kind of recognition. She certainly got her answer a moment later when he spoke her name, a smile naturally rising to her features that was far more polite than anything else. The woman before him was about average in appearance... her eyes were about the only outwardly extraordinary thing about her. 

Standing to greet him, one hand smoothed over her skirt to ensure it fell around her thighs properly, as her other was held out for him to shake, “That would be me, yup! I take it you’re Franklyn?” she prompted with a cant of her head, a learned action, rather than one that came naturally to her.

“Nope.” He knew what game she was playing at. Trying to seduce him. With the whole clinging swimsuit, wet hair, that little smirk on her face. Girls had tried it before. He wasn’t oblivious to the way he looked, or acted. But having it come from her was certainly something new. Usually she was standoffish, a little bit cold towards the entire group of her security. She resented them, that wasn’t exactly hard to figure out. Because she was one of those girls who figured they could protect themselves better than anyone else could. But if her history was any indication of what type of trouble she could get into, neither his boss nor her father were taking any risks. 

Tyler smirked up at her, watching as she took another spoonful of the ice cream before he pulled out his phone to check the rest of their schedule for the day. It was rare that she got a day off. That there wasn’t a time when he had to be chauffeuring her from one thing or the next. Public appearances, charity fundraisers, interviews. Everyone wanted something to do with the president’s daughter. But today was one of the more rare quiet days. Which he had to admit was nice, even for him. “Your dad’s in meetings until around eight tonight,” He spoke, still not looking up from the screen. “But his head of security mentioned that he might want to catch a dinner or something with you.”  

“He does?” the words were muffled from the ice cream in her mouth, giving Tyler a look that spoke of her genuine surprise. Now it wasn’t that her and her Father were at odds... not by any means. He loved his daughter, and she knew that, it was just ... when you were the President, there wasn’t a whole lot of time to be with your family. Working the ice cream around in her mouth for a bit, she swallowed with a grimace at how the frozen treat effected her, even going so far to shiver before she licked her lips clean of anything that might remain there. “He does?” These words were much clearer than before, a grin rising to her features that she couldn’t quite help, couldn’t stop how her eyes brightened just a touch more in a manner that was far from one of its usual mischief. 

Oh no, her happiness always held a very distinct look on her, one that added a natural beauty to her. “Well then... I suppose we should find something to do until then!” popping another spoonful of ice cream into her mouth, her mind visibly churned with the possibilities. She was going to finish her swimming of course... though she did seem to realize a moment later that the guards were hovering there, watching her. Giving them a rather irritated look, a brow arched, “You can leave now. I’m fairly certain I only need one guard to watch me in my own home.” god this was a pain in the ass.

‘Seems like a bit of a coincidence, don’t you think? They show up right after you do?’ Ragnor snapped at her. The lake, previously calm, was beginning to grow restless as it responded to his mood. It lapped the shore with more force than was natural in the still air.

Ragnor glanced over his shoulder in the direction of his home. Ten minutes away. He couldn’t portal inside the wards, so he’d have to make the journey on foot and his unwanted guests could easily follow him. If they did that, he would lead them inside the wards and it would no longer be safe anyway.

He looked back when the crossbow bolt embedded in the grass close by, and cast Emmalyn a scathing glare that did not quite match the gravity of the situation. It was more equal to a child’s furious glance at a sibling after being ratted out for misbehaving to their parents.

‘I’m too old for this,’ he huffed, releasing the glamour, revealing green skin, white hair, horns, and extra-jointed fingers. There was no point in wasting his energy holding it in place anymore. He pulled his feet out of the increasingly agitated water and stood up.

“Perhaps, but what else do you expect when you get two beings like us in close proximity, my -  ooooh! Oh look, there you are! Beautiful!” Emma exclaimed, clearly unbothered by his “scathing” look that she received. Though she was a bit more concerned over that water of his, keeping an eye on how it reacted to him and how it behaved even as she moved to stand up so that she wasn’t at any kind of disadvantage. 

“I suppose its only fair for me to drop my glamour, since you did your own...” her voice was thoughtful, head canting off to the side just a touch before she let the magic drop. It was nothing dramatic, despite how she was highly fond of being extra... one second she seemed to be just like any normal human, and the next? The air seemed a touch heavier with her presence, black feline ears at the top or her head and a long, sleek tail of the same color curled behind her to prevent it from touching the ground. 

“Though I don’t believe you are too old.. you are never too old for a bit of fun,” her smile certainly suggested she believed what would be following would be the perfect form of entertainment. “Its a pity they let us know they were here,” she continued, turning to face the group of hunters that emerged into sight with their weapons drawn. 

“They aren’t the brightest crayons in the box, now are they?” she hummed, far too casual for the intensity the hunters gave off. “Now what will you do I wonder...” looking over to Ragnor with a grin.
