The high ceiling housed grand chandeliers and golden accents throughout the pillars and waves of gorgeous sculptures on the walls, and renaissance paintings on the ceilings. It looked so elegant and it was such a nice breathe of fresh air and with the mellow music playing in the background— the soft orchestra and the billowy voice of the singer made it all seem like a dream. 

Bucky’s rested his hand on your lower back while he held your other hand close to his chest, and you rested your cheek on his shoulder. He looked dapper— his hair was tied in a small bun, and his jaw was freshly shaven although you could see a shadow coming out. He looked extremely well, and you never knew that you would see Bucky Barnes in a tuxedo. 

Even the whole team couldn’t believe it.

The high ceiling housed grand chandeliers and golden accents throughout the pillars and waves of gorgeous sculptures on the walls, and renaissance paintings on the ceilings. It looked so elegant and it was such a nice breathe of fresh air and with the mellow music playing in the background— the soft orchestra and the billowy voice of the singer made it all seem like a dream. 

Bucky’s rested his hand on your lower back while he held your other hand close to his chest, and you rested your cheek on his shoulder. He looked dapper— his hair was tied in a small bun, and his jaw was freshly shaven although you could see a shadow coming out. He looked extremely well, and you never knew that you would see Bucky Barnes in a tuxedo. 

Even the whole team couldn’t believe it. 

For a while, your mind drifted off to a fairytale— the gorgeous ceilings and the dance of a lifetime until the clock strikes twelve and then you’re back to reality. 

“How many cameras do you see?” Bucky whispered in your ear, softly planting a kiss on your temple as he rested his chin on top of your head as he swayed you both. 

“Ten,” you answered, looking up at Bucky, and rested your other cheek on Bucky’s shoulder. “There could be more.” 

Bucky swayed you both the other way so he could see your side, and you tightened your hold on his back as he lifted you in a soft turn which emitted curious glances and sweet smiles from the rest of the people on the dance floor. You could feel Bucky smile on top of your head, as he curled his hand on your lower back. He hummed to the music, and you couldn’t help but smile. 

You have never heard him hum. 

“Do you know this song?” 

“Yeah,” Bucky answered, looking down to meet your eyes, then he smiled. “I used to dance to this song, every single time.” 

“Lots of girls, huh?” 

Bucky blushed, and tucked himself up as his eyes wandered around the place. “Just danced this to my special girls.” 

Now it was your turn to look up at him. You rested your hands on his side of his neck, while the other played withe pocket square right on his chest. He continued to sway you both to the music—

“Am I special to you then, Bucky Barnes?” 

Bucky froze and he slowly bent down and lingered his hands on your hips. He leaned down, until his nose brushed your cheek— and you could also feel your own cheeks fire up with color, until he gently placed a kiss on the corner of your lips. 

“Enough love birds.” 

Sam chuckled on the comms, and you could see him the by the corner of your eye, chuckling to himself as he carried a tray of glasses filled with champagne. Natasha on the other end, rolled her eyes subtlety, still placing a light smile on her lips as she bumped into Sam. He, on the other hand, grinned widely, and looked at your position— and winked at you.

If Bucky could see him now… he’d turn all red and be all-broody about it. 

Steve bumped into the both of you, apologizing for any disturbance as he swept the dance floor with more glasses of champagne. You couldn’t help but smile at the team and feel Bucky be all-broody and tensed up now. 

Bucky straightened up and loosened his touch on your hips, as he removed your hands on his body and swayed both of you again—

“The target is on the move,” Steve voiced out in the comms, and he bumped into you again. 

“Va bene, signore, [It’s okay, mister.]” you said, helping Steve up as he bumped into you. 

Immediately, a man dressed in a black suit caught up with the commotion and placed a hand on Steve’s shoulder. Bucky raised his hand in protest— still in the act of a millionaire and your role as his partner, as he repeated what you said— but a little rocky. The guard caught up with Bucky’s slurring and you quickly intervened as you saw Sam and Natasha quickly place down their trays. 

“Non ci dà fastidio, per favore, [It doesn’t bother us, please.]” you said, placing a hand on Steve’s forearm. The guard relaxed, and you gave a pat on Bucky’s chest, “Mio marito non l'ha visto. [My husband didn’t see.]”

“Bene, [Okay,]” the guard said walking away from the three of you. 

“The target is on the move,” Steve repeated, a little shudder in his voice. You couldn’t blame him, his face wasn’t cover — and it’ll be just any minute for anybody to figure out Captain America is here. 

“Nat and Sam followed them,” you supplied, patting Bucky on the chest. 

“Okay,” Steve nodded, and walked away. Later his voice came on the comms, “You two stay there.” 

Bucky nodded as if Steve could see him, and you tensed up as you can feel every one of the two of you. A waiter— which is what Steve was— bumping into a couple in this elegant building is enough for an employee to be tossed aside and fired. Bucky must have not remembered so now everybody is looking. Their looks on Bucky are useless, as he continued to sway the both of you. 

“Where did you learn Italian?” 

“Idiota, sono Italiano, [Dumbass, I’m Italian,]” you deadpanned, shaking your head— just with a tiny smile on your lips. 

“Scusa, tuo marito ha dimenticato, [Sorry, your husband must have forgotten.]” he answered, chuckling softly but his eyes were following something. Still, you kept your surprised to hear Bucky speak Italian. “They’re following them, let’s go.”

It was a shitfest. 

Your ears still rung from the heavy explosions, and your hand has little cuts on top of it, and your fingers were numb from all the knife work— and it didn’t exactly helped that you were wearing three inch heels and you had to run, and your dress was a bit heavy— so all in all, it was a struggle. 

You sat at the edge of your bed in the hotel room, your shoes in your hands and the guns and knife on the bed. You couldn’t even be bothered to look take off your thigh strap as your body ached from all the running and the heavy weapons Bucky and Sam threw to you whenever you ended up empty-handed. 

There was a knock on the door, and you turned your head towards it. Sighing, you threw your shoes gently on the ground. 

“It’s open,” you said loudly, wondering who it’ll be. 

Then, the door opened softly, and Bucky entered— completely disheveled as you. 

He left his suit jacket somewhere during the mission, and he entered your room with his sleeves rolled up— his black gloves forgotten too. His metal arm was a nice contrast of color to the black and white he was wearing, and it didn’t completely help that he still looked charming— even if there soot on his face and dried blood on the corner of his lip. A few cuts too, and you walked towards the bedside where the first-aid kit was. 

“Hey,” you said, opening the first aid kit. “Come sit.” 

Bucky stood by the door, and he locked the door behind him. He took a sit by where you were earlier, and he sighed loudly, chuckling too. “One hell of mission, huh?” 

“I didn’t know there would be a complete militia,” you whispered, walking towards to Bucky. You stood between his legs, as you rested your hand on his jaw as you cleaned his face. “It didn’t help too with the heels.” 

“I can see that,” he said, turning his head towards the thrown shoes. 

The both of you were quiet— exhausted from the mission. He winced a couple of times, and you apologize a couple of times as well. Bucky was quiet the whole, and you couldn’t even help but wonder why he is. 

“Why are you here, anyway?” You asked, holding Bucky’s face as you patched him up. 

Bucky took your hand, and held it on his own. He looked like he was contemplating whether to speak up or not— so he just let go of your hand until you were left there dumbfounded. He opened and closed his mouth until he closed his eyes in defeat. 

Then he opened them, and looked straight at you. 

“Yes.” 

“What?”

“Your question, earlier,” he said, standing up in the middle of the room. He turned his back away, and crossed his arms. You couldn’t help but look at the way his muscles moved on his back through the thin white shirt, but your eyes focused again on his eyes when he turned. 

“My question?” 

“Yes,” he nodded. Bucky blushed again, and he looked like a complete million dollar man, even with the red bandaids on his face— it was all that you have left. “You’re a special girl.” 

“Are we still acting like a couple?” 

“No,” he answered, right away. He sighed and turned towards the door. 

“Come back,” you said, putting down the first-aid kit. You motioned over for Bucky and he walked slowly until he was a couple of steps away from you. “Closer.” 

“Why?” 

“You just told me I’m one of your special girls,” you whispered, motioning him closer. Your heart is beating fast— and seeing Bucky look equally red and flushed, you smiled widely, looks tossed away as both of you are drenched dried sweat, soot, dirt, and exhaustion. 

“Yeah?” 

“Yeah,” you answered, walking to him, and holding him by the shoulders as he clasped his hands on your waist. “And we’re in Milan—.”

“Our dance was cut short, huh?” 

Bucky pulled you in closer, until you rested your head on top of his shoulder, and his chin on top of your head. He hummed a little bit, and started swaying both of you to his humming. His metal hand rubbed circles on your waist, and you coulnd’t help but shiver at his cold touch. 

Then he started mumbling. 

His voice was soft, and still unsure of his words, but he was singing. Softly. All you could do was sway with him, all most on your tiptoes to hold him by the shoulder and to savor this moment, as he mumbled the way to the song earlier, very softly and sweetly that all it all reminds you of fairytale you didn’t want to end. Bucky swayed, and listened to you hum as well, and he became much sure of his words, though he was struggling with some words, but you smile against his shoulder and listened to him sing—

Dark hooded eyes met yours across the loud bar, his steel blue eyes glinting with such vigor as the other one held his glass of whiskey. He wasn’t used to this scene— with Tony and all getting wild in the background, Sam chatting down with his girl that he brought, Steve blushing in the corner when somebody approached with another drink in their eyes. Now, these blues stared right at you— you’re the only person he knows here, not literally, but he needed company. 

Your feet dragged you across the floor, bit unbalanced as you had some strong mix of alcohol Natasha forced you to try, but you found yourself by his side anyway. He slid you a glass of water, as he took a sip of his glass. 

“Too much to drink?” 

“Nat got me to try her drink,” you said, sighing as you put that the glass of water. 

“That’s dangerous,” he replied, a small smile playing on his lips. He downed his glass, and your eyes glanced down at his hand enclosing it. 

One.

Two.

Three.

“Right now?” 

Bucky raised a brow, lifting his pinky finger that you taught him that day. Pinky promise. He placed down his pinky and signaled the bartender for another drink. The bartender followed suit, and then he’s got another drink on his hand. Bucky turned to you, and lifted his metal’s hand for you. 

“There’s so many people,” you whispered quickly, lips touching his ears as you grabbed on to his shoulder to whisper, “Are you insane?” 

“A promise is a promise, isn’t?” He whispered back, his hand now abandoning the glass to hold you by the small of your back. 

“It’s a party!”

“And it’s boring.” 

“I know that—,” you whispered, pulling away from him. You flicked his hand from your back and crossed your arms at him. 

“So,” he whispered again, drawling, “What do you say?” 

Minutes later, Bucky stood up and headed to the door, away from the scene, away from the dancing people, away from all the people. You waited for a couple of minutes, staying at the bar until you scanned the gang on the room. 

Everybody’s busy. 

Nobody will see us. 

Then you followed Bucky’s footsteps. You know this already like the back of your hand, familiar with every step, crook and cranny of this building until you were standing by the door of the powder room that you’re very much familiar with. Good thing nobody really uses this because, damn, the mess and hushed voices when Bucky holds you by the hips— you’re very much a mess. 

He knows that the sink is your favorite as he slowly lifts your leg—

He knows that you like it when your back touches the cold tiles, and you hold on to the grab bar tightly—

He knows that you like his metal fingers, first—

“Took you long enough,” Bucky said, behind you. His voice was guttural, deep, and his eyes raked your back. He paced towards you, close enough, but not touching. “That’s one hell of a dress.” 

His slight accent comes out playing and you couldn’t help but smile. You love his accent. Very much. You look down at your dress, lifting it slowly, exposing more and more of your thigh from the high slit. Bucky glanced down darkly, his mouth making a tsk, and he grabbed your hand tightly and pleaded, “Not here. Not here.”

“Hmmm,” you hummed, playing with his hand. His was callous and bigger than yours— and just by the thought of it running down your skin, oh, his eyes glinted with lust, “I thought you were the one who needed this?” 

“Yes.” 

He pushed you inside, grabbing your hip as you blindly walked backwards, just following his steps as he led you inside, and harshly closing the door. Somehow, this room feels smaller. It feels smaller now that Bucky sauntered over you, his first top buttons skewed away to make way for his muscular built. His hair was tied lousily, and he made no movement of actually pushing his hair away. 

Besides, you know how he likes it when you grab on to it, especially when he feels your nails scraping his scalp, very much so. 

“Take off your dress.” 

“Eager, are we?” 

He ignored you, walking towards you. 

The cold tiles hit your back, and when you hitched a breath with your eyes closed, you can already imagine Bucky smiling mischievously as he walked, and walked, until no space is left between the two of you. 

“Take off your dress.”

That you did— you followed him, leaving yourself dressed in a black slip on. His hand was immediately clutching your hip, while the other one rubbed smooth circles on the skin behind your ear. His placed kisses alongside your jaw, cheek, temple, and the valley of your nose as he lowered himself to feast by the side of your neck. His teeth nibbled on the skin of your neck, leaving it vulnerable to his warm breathe as he clutched your hip tighter. Bucky then nibbled on your lobe, and his lips touched your skin once more. 

“Please,” you whimpered, covering his hand over yours, “Bucky.” 

“Hmmm,” he hummed, as he hitched your slip-on higher to reveal your inner thighs. 

The cold air from room hit your body, and you shivered from it and from the sensation of his metal arm on your thigh as he lifted your leg to wrap around his waist. At this point, you’re already breathing hard, harder, as he slip the strap of your clothing with his teeth. 

It took everything in you to catch your breath as he placed sweet, little, bites on the skin where your strap was supposed to be. His metal hand pinched your inner thigh, and you squeal in surprise, followed by a quick giggle. Bucky smiled, catching the corner of your lips in a kiss. 

“Open your eyes, darlin,’” he commanded, his voice deep and vibrating against your chest. 

“Yes,” you whispered, hooded eyes opening to meet his blues in fervor. 

“You promise to be quiet?”

“God,” you groaned, feeling his metal finger run through your clothed apex, and you nodded quickly. “Yes, yes.” 

“Good girl,” he whispered, quickly nibbling your lobe. 

He pushed your underwear in no hesitation aside, and you were met with teasing touches— his finger grazing your folds in slow, tantalizing movement. You arch your back to meet his fingers, but he gently slammed you back against the wall with a smirk on his face. 

“Buck,” you whined, feeling his finger caress your thigh. “What the fuc—.”

It’s like the winds were knocked out of you, as he slowly inserted two fingers, wasting no time pumping— thrusting back and forth, and you caught his wrist in feeling his hand move through you. He listened to you whimper helpless, breath hitching quickly, until you caught his rhythm that match the rise and fall of your chest. After a few seconds, he slowed down— and pressed his finger against your clit. 

“Buck—.”

It was all building up and up, until you can feel your breath quicken against his chest and damp kisses while his fingers worked you up. His metal fingers were godly, goodly, torturous against your sex that you went rigid against his touch for stopping. He grinned against you— flushing himself against you, feeling his finger add pressure to your sex as he teased again. 

You could never have him all without him stopping. He likes it when you beg. 

Ask for more, ask him to make you come, ask him to continue—

“Yes, darlin’?” 

“Jesus—,” you whimpered, your hands grabbing his as you inserted his fingers inside of you, and immediately felt that needed pressure inside as you arch your back in sensation. 

“What is it?”

“Christ, Bucky,” you groaned, your lips finding his neck— leaving vicious hickeys you knew will be difficult to cover up. But he didn’t complain, he liked them. Instead, he pushed himself against you, feeling his bulge through his jeans. He rubbed himself on you, watching you put your head back as friction met your wet wants to be touched. Felt. But his fingers were still teasing you. 

He likes it when you beg.

“Fucking touch me, Bucky,” you groaned harshly against his ear, as you left no consideration kissing and leaving marks on the side of his neck. 

In one quick move, he got you pressed against the wall, and your back against his chest. The cold tiles were flushed against your skin, as he spread your legs wider with his knee. His lips were close to your ears and he whispered dark, little things. He wasted no time pumping into you, his fingers making you dissolve into bliss as he continued to work, faster, harder, as your moans filled the room louder, quicker and he pumped his fingers to sounds of your mouth. You can still feel his bulge— the friction too gracious that you palmed it, to… to feel him. 

Bucky growled, and pushed you further, feeling your skin stick to the tiles making you whimper in delight and pleasure. “No sex,” Bucky repeated, waiting for you by the sick to get dressed. He knows he sounded unsure of his answer, but he didn’t push it anymore. He doesn’t want to feel it. 

Once you were done, Bucky opened the door until you’ve got yourself ready and dressed again to go meet the crowd. He went the other way, hand in his pocket and the other scratching his neck. He didn’t even look back like the way he used to—a smirk on his lips and wink as he bowed down in way of saying welcome, knowing damn well he’s done a complete good job. 

In some times, when it was your turn, you would mimic his actions, bowing down, but he would pull you against him, his hands gently feeling your body. He feels intoxicating, and he feels new and so sweet that the words coming from his mouth would often repeat in your mind. 

Later in the night, you couldn’t help but wonder if you go further than the initial rule.

Once you opened your eyes in the morning, you found yourself walking in the empty hallway, dressed in his old hoodie he has left you until you found yourself standing in front of his room. 

Coincidentally, his door opened as he yawned through the early sun. He scratched his head, his eyes properly seeing you in front of him. He glanced down, and smiled as he tilted his chin towards his hoodie draped on your body. 

“Good morni—.” 

“Sex, Bucky.” 

Bucky tensed up, and relaxed. His face soften in wonder and his eyes perked up in an instant. HIs ears were red, as he tried to purse his lips in question but the glint in his eyes says enough. 

“You want to have sex?” 

“Are you trying to change my mind?” You asked softly, taking a step backwards. 

He shook his head, and propped his hand against the doorframe. 

“Don’t want you to,” he answered, opening the door wider. 

You raised your head, thinking if it’s worth asking. More. 

“What happens after then?” 

“After?” 

“After.” 

Bucky quickly caught on the idea— he also doesn’t know if he’s asking you to change the rules of the relationship or your asking the future after between the two of you. He chose the latter. 

“We could grab coffee down the street,” he answered, using his metal hand to count off of his fingers. 

“We could grab lunch,” he answered, two. 

“We could grab dinner,” he answered, three. 

“We could have sex again— to burn off some calories,” he answered, four, and that earned a chuckle from you. 

“We could… we could talk about us? What this is between us.” He answered, five. That earned a quick beating of your heart. 

“Us?”

Steve hummed while driving, his finger absentmindedly touching his lips as he contemplated in deafening silence. He is so calm, it’s somewhat getting on your nerves, because, how can he be so calm? Technically, bad guys are chasing you— or just somewhere lost since both of you has escaped already and Steve called the mission, done. It’s just your nerves playing on you, and Steve being silent isn’t helping at all. He’s too calm, he hasn’t talked about the party in the compound when the both of you gets back and you know how much it riles him up the wall. He doesn’t particularly like it— but he enjoys it but he would run his mouth complaining about it. Next thing you know, he’ll be somewhat moving to the beat of the music with alcohol running through his veins. 

“Steve?” 

“Yeah,” he answered, turning his head momentarily to look at you. He offered a smile, as his spare hand gripped your thigh for a second, then on to the wheel. 

“How much longer?” 

He scratched his head, pursing his lips in wonder, then he shook his head. “Maybe an hour or two?” 

“Oh,” you sighed, then you turned your whole body at him, with a raised brow. “Then are you going to be silent the whole time?” 

“Sorry,” he said, squeezing your thigh one more time, “Just thinking.”

The car jerked forward, and he unbuckled his seatbelt, then unbuckled yours. In one swift move, he moved his arm behind your back and placed you on his lap. He grabbed on to your legs as he placed it on his sides. His hands now rested on your hips, surely leaving a mark in the next morning. His touch was tight and firm on your hips, and he watched you lick your lips as he guided your hips into a frenzy of friction over his thigh.

He raised a brow, licking his brow, and in one swift move— he took his shirt off too. His eyes focused on your navel, until he gently flicked it, while his hand paused you by the waist.
