Learning is always idiosyncratic.
No two great musicians play an instrument the same way.
Neither do two sportsmen play the same way.
Why would it be different in other domains?
Be unabashedly yourself when performing any skill.

Every time you're stuck judging, thinking and planning, the doer within you dies a little bit. With a floundering doer within you, learning becomes impossible.
Therefore, criticise yourself less. Simply do things, observe what's been the result, and refine actions. There is no greater teacher than the universe, and doing is the way to receive its teaching.
Engaging in honest discussions with genuine scholars is a rare privilege of being human. The ability to efficiently grasp the essence of someone else through language and examples makes life worth living, bringing immense joy and meaning.
The amateur expects fair treatment from people, and is surprised and taken aback when mistreated.
The knowledgeable person expects attempts at mistreatment, builds up provisions to deal with it beforehand, and is prepared when said mistreatment materialises.
Feeding a hungry stray animal is an act of pure compassion, and the joy derived when seeing the animal's satisfaction is of the highest kind. You don't expect anything in return, you don't want anything from it, other than it being happy. You won't get fame, wealth or power through the act. The kindness shown to pets is of a different kind, because you do hope to benefit from its company. If one is feeling down and depressed, the best way to help oneself is to help a hungry stray animal.
Time's running out. Run faster.
Time's running out. Do what needs doing now.
Time's running out. Don't waste it on things that don't matter.
Time's running out. Elevate your consciousness.
Time's running out. Live life the way it is supposed to be lived.
Time's running out. Give it everything you've got.
The best way to honour one's teachers is to put their teachings into practice faithfully. The greatest source of joy for a teacher is to see one's wisdom put into practice in the world, generating benefits for the individual and the group.
Someone who can maintain a zoomed out philosophical outlook amidst trying situations, is best poised to overcome and succeed.
Aspire to be a life which builds other lives. Be a foundation, upon which great things can be built.
Embrace a daily environment filled with the echoes of greatness. The inspiration drawn from the enduring legacy of noble thoughts and goodwill left by our predecessors is of immeasurable value. Our heritage defines our humanity and offers the opportunity to transcend our primal instincts. We owe boundless gratitude to the tireless efforts of martyrs and scholars of the past. Contemplate the incredible journey undertaken by visionaries like Newton, who unveiled the mysteries of the universe, and the relentless dedication of countless explorers over millennia, which serves as the bedrock of our progress. In the presence of such remarkable contributions, let us remain ever humble
Keep a firm grasp on the obvious at all times.
In life, you meet two types of people. Those who understand the real meaning and value of the word commitment, and those who do not. Commitment to people, purpose, activities and ideals is critical to living a life of meaning. Avoid associating with people who do not understand commitment; they are of the unevolved type.
Stop judging people, not for their benefit, but for your own. You are investing precious mental energy into a profitless direction. If you put the same effort into building something constructive, doing something useful, you have better chances of getting beneficial outcomes. Ultimately, people do as people do, just like the rivers flow seaward, heavy objects fall towards earth, and earth circles the sun.
How to develop clarity? List the obvious. Combine the obvious in straightforward ways to arrive at more obvious conclusions. Since the obvious conclusions will be undoubtedly beneficial, do the obvious thing. Once the obvious thing is done, you will obviously obtain the expected result. Therefore, clarity is simply a refined term for maintaining a relentless focus on the obvious and avoiding the non-obvious
You get drawn into the stories of others, because you are uninterested in your own story.
Most people around you are clueless. They have no idea what they are doing or why. Don't be intimidated by the stories they construct. A story is just a story. It is not the entirety of the universe, but merely a tiny, fleeting and often illusory part of it.
The purpose of having a purpose is to deliver meaning to one's day to day actions.
