A Watermelon Tourmaline crystal specimen. Sometimes when you slice it where the green and red meet, you'll get a slice with green on the outside and red in the middle. Like watermelon....

This is a Pariba Tourmaline faceted teardrop. It weighs .35 carats which is just over one third of a carat. This is something that I thought I'd never have for my collection. Pariba Tourmaline runs twenty thousand or usually more per carat. When you get to the 2 carat market, it even runs more per carat and so on and so forth. The guy that I got it from didn't know what he had. The price that I paid for it was ridiculously less than he should have asked for....
