Crayon 7: Blue Violet
Not evil, but perhaps just misunderstood, Miss Blue Violet comes from another world, where anything is possible. The last drawing from 3/10/15.
Crayon 6: Blue Green
One of my personal favorites, Miss Blue Green was also drawn on 3/10/15. She enjoys walking on the beach and exploring nature!
Crayon 5: Mauvelous
Ok, so this one is from 3/10/15 (thank goodness for dating!) Mrs. Mauvelous is one classy lady. She is always elegant and proper, but she isn’t hesitant about giving you a piece on her mind. Currently the eldest character of the crayon portraits.
Crayon 4: Violet Red
Always moving forward, looking ahead, Miss Violet Red does not stop for a moment. She is very athletic, but may be too focused on her fast-paced lifestyle to pause a moment and enjoy time with friends or smell the violet red roses.
Unrelated, but here's a mermaid drawn with crayon I found when going through my notebooks. I was trying to come up with costume ideas for a production of Peter Pan several years ago. I thought she was pretty cool and fit the theme, so why not?
Crayon 3: Wisteria
Miss Wisteria is quiet, insightful, and very studious.
Another older drawing, also from around four years ago probably…
Crayon 2: Granny Smith Apple
If you thought Miss Granny Smith was going to be elderly, think again! Make no mistake though, this little girl absolutely loves visits to her Granny’s orchard more than anything else!
This drawing is also from SEVERAL years ago (like four years ago, give or take a year… I didn’t date them…) as this hobby has been going on for a while, but I just got re-interested in it, and decided to start this blog to keep myself accountable, as I have set the goal of creating a portrait for every color. Hopefully we’ll all get to see the change over time, and you’ll finally be able to put a face to your favorite color (because that’s what everyone’s always wanted, right?)
Crayon 1: Carnation Pink
Let’s go back to several, several years ago, when I first began doing this. I thought about redoing some of these early portraits, but it didn’t feel right to redo a color I had already used, so here is Miss Carnation Pink, a calm, orderly girl who is very creative on the inside, though she may not show it outside.
