Chance of a lifetime for an epic trick
The passenger steamer SS Warrimoo was quietly knifing its way through the waters of the mid-Pacific on its way from Vancouver to Australia. The navigator had just finished working out a star fix and brought Captain John DS. Phillips, the result. The Warrimoo’s position was LAT 0º 31’ N and LONG 179 30’ W. The date was 31 December 1899.
“Know what this means?” First Mate Payton broke in, “We’re only a few miles from the intersection of the Equator and the International Date Line”. Captain Phillips was prankish enough to take full advantage of the opportunity for achieving the navigational freak of a lifetime.
He called his navigators to the bridge to check & double check the ship’s position. He changed course slightly so as to bear directly on his mark. Then he adjusted the engine speed.
The calm weather & clear night worked in his favor. At mid-night the SS Warrimoo lay on the Equator at exactly the point where it crossed the International Date Line! The consequences of this bizarre position were many:
The forward part (bow) of the ship was in the Southern Hemisphere & in the middle of summer.
The rear (stern) was in the Northern Hemisphere & in the middle of winter.
The date in the aft part of the ship was 31 December 1899.
In the bow (forward) part it was 1 January 1900.

This ship was therefore not only in:
Two different days,
Two different months,
Two different years,
Two different seasons
But in two different centuries - all at the same time!

This post is not going to be fun its actually very upsetting….
FIRST OF ALL……let me start off by saying im grateful for what i have im grateful that im not homeless…. BUT the way im being treated here is not what i DESERVE……
This whole situation began on my birthday when my family decided to have a family vent session ON MY BIRTHDAY (mind you i domt give much of a shit about my birthday but it still pissed me off) my…. I don’t even wanna call him a brother… He’s not a brother to me
. for sake of we’ll call him a “room hogger”, he moved back in the night before. He is my Wisconsin"mothers" son. SO NOW MIND YOU THAT THERE ARE NOW 5 PEOPLE….. IN A 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT….. Their whole this (except for my father) was tell ing me to “just adapt and be grateful” which is truly rude considering how much ive “adapted” all ready (moving in with no room sleeping on a couch in the living room while being fed lies)… But since… Ive been QUICKLY losing my patients…. Which brings me to last night……
The Room Hogger was down here with me and my father which is fine…. Until its time to go to bed… And just incase you dont think it sounds bad that hes “just around” let me break this down for you….
HE IS ON FACE TIME NO EARPHONES WITH HIS FUCKING GIRLFRIEND EVERY FUCKING NIGHT BLASTING MUSIC AND HAS THE LIVING ROOM LIGHT ON…….
I work almost everyday of the fucking week I NEEEEED SLEEP….. I CANT FUCKING SLEEP WHEN THE LIGHT IS ONE AND PEOPLE ARE BEING FUCKING LOUD… This went on until 4am…. 4 FUCKING A M… and i told him i was going to turn the light off and this fucker goes “ill just turn it back on”…..
SO HERES THE MOVE IM LOOKING AT MOVING VERY SOON OUT OF STATE
Id rather not share the states for privacy reasons…. But heres the problem at the moment i only have 0.26$ IN MY ACCOUNT. My job pays me 8.50 an hour every TWO WEEKS in which i have to use to pay bills and help around this dreadful appartment and considering ill have to pay to get my things shipped and luggage prices around 30- 50$ or more for multiple bags i would be stuck in this situation forever……. The goal is the end of September but i need help…. This is a now toxic and negative environment and i need out….. I hate to ask but i desperately need help now…. I cannot grow as an artist or a person in this “home”

Id be moving in with my REAL mom and older sister… I havent seen my mother in a very long time and she has already told me that she has enough room for me to be free and have privacy so i can get back to posting! Its gonna be quite the change because im the rest of my family is in this state and i gonna miss them but im sick of being in negative house holds…..
I hope that by spreading this I can inadvertently help a little ;-;
