Luc sighed and reached over his shoulder into his hoodie, pulling out the raggedy blue tiger Tiki and handed it to Minnie who quickly shh-ed Yvette by handing her the toy to haphazardly cuddle before gripping her cup between her fingers and heading down the corridor, quietly telling Yvette who Gabriel was. That’s your Uncle Gabriel. He’s gonna be part of our family soon. Luc and Nessa either couldn’t hear it, or neither acknowledged it, the former was more likely. ”We all have French heritages and we learned most from our families or school.” Luc added, sipping his hot chocolate and leaning against the counter. “There’s a use for everything in the world, we just have to figure it out.” He yawned, resting his cheek back on the top of Nessa’s head. 

"I put just a pinch of sugar in it. Nothing special. I should try the peppermint candies though. That should taste lovely. " Nessa smiled. "It’s nothing. We like having company. Ooh, I need to write down our numbers." she reminded herself, searching blindly for a pen on the counter before turning in her spot to write on the notepad on the cupboard. "I’m not your pillow Luc." she murmured softly, nudging him with her hip.

Nessa handed Gabriel a Rabbit I’m all ears mug while she slid Minette’s Tinkerbelle mug across the counter, cupping her stitch mug with a gentle hand.

"That’s quite the impressive language bank you all have. I took French back in high school and a few refresher courses in college but aside from that I know very basic communication words in Spanish. Though it comes in handy when I have to write out scenes with heavy French accents." he smiled as he thought of his book again and took a sip of the drink.
