Unfortunately this only accounts for the ‘stopped’ border crossings. It also says quite clearly at the bottom that these are only encounters that occurred between ports of entry, not at the border checkpoints. The official position of the Biden/Harris administration has been to allow in everyone who comes here. This also doesn’t account for the ‘got-aways’ that ICE wasn’t able to stop. I live in Texas. I’ve literally seen people running across the border and running from the Border Patrol Agents. This isn’t a myth. It’s real.
