My documents finally arrived to my coordinator this week and it’s yet another waiting game on where I’ll be placed. Now that most of my application process is sorted, the nerves and reality of it all are beginning to set in.

Are there any others applying for EPIK’s 2016 fall term? Hopefully I’ll see some of you at the orientation :)

Hey, it’s nice to meet you! It’s nice to meet another fellow Brit :D I also just realised our display pictures were taken at the same spot haha. Can I ask which location you applied for? And did you get asked for a 2nd choice in case you didn’t get your first?

Wow you’re from UK too?:D ohh I just noticed our pictures haha. I applied for Seoul and no I didn’t get asked a second choice but I said I’m open to other locations. What about you?

Yeah in the North-West to be exact, you? :) I did get asked and I chose Daejeon as my second choice, since it’s a city in the middle and I can conveniently visit Seoul or Busan etc. :D

I’m in the South-East :P Ooh yeah I would’ve chosen Daejeon or Daegu as my second choice. So what is your first? Seoul?

Ah, typical that anyone I meet is down in the south haha. Yeah Seoul is my first choice, but I’m kinda doubtful I’ll get placed there since I wasn’t exactly early with my docs, hence why I think my coordinator asked me for my second choice.

Maybe we’ll meet when we’re at orientation! Well I read some blogs who said they sent their docs pretty late like around June and still managed to get Seoul. But those were a few years ago so it might be more competitive now. Fingers crossed we both get Seoul! :)

Yes I did! I got placed in Seoul too! Actually couldn’t believe it when I saw the email that morning haha congratulations to us both! Shall be seeing you soon then :)
