I wish Starflight and I could go on a stargazing date, but of course this damn meat suit has to be blind.

I’m usually pretty fine with it— it’s all I’ve ever known, after all. But sometimes it can be frustrating.

I just wish my love could see the stars he was named for again.

VENT/WANTING ADVICE

Having a chill, laidback, silly, sweet guy of a headmate who melts your heart is torture when you’re someone who’s full of so much love to share but also infinite anxiety.

I’ve been considering asking him out, but I don’t want to be harshly judged by others, which I know is a bad reason, but still. I really do enjoy sharing and expressing my love and want to be able to do so openly; people and their possible reactions just terrify me.

That’s why I barely share anything about my relationship with Starflight, even in ficto and system spaces.

I wish it weren’t the case. I wish it wasn’t so that if I were to tell someone “I love this sweet, compassionate, patient, loving dragon”, all they would hear is “dragon”, despite him being a mature adult who can consent, is capable of clear communication, and also (more or less) lives in my brain.

I wish that people weren’t so unreasonably judgy so I wouldn’t have to worry about it so much. I wish I could show my love freely and openly, even if it’s just online, without being so scared.

A thrift store date where each of you picks out an outfit for the other. Roaming the aisles, looking for just the right sweater or dress or whatever else, picking out things that you just know they would look absolutely gorgeous in.

Not that they aren’t already the most beautiful being in the world to you. Of course they are. And they feel the exact same way about you, too. Remember that.

Fun fact: your partner(s) love(s) you! No matter what you think or how you feel about yourself, you are so incredibly loved and cared about beyond words.

Nishiki would 100% take care of me whenever I’m not feeling well. I feel like it’s just in his protective nature.

I bet he’d even learn to cook for me, despite the scents of the kitchen being revolting to him. He’d master recipes for a few of my favourite foods for when I’m not feeling well just to make sure that I get food that I like in me, even when I can barely move from chronic illness symptoms.

Despite his prickly exterior with most others, he’s so sweet to me, and it makes me love him even more knowing that I in turn am cared about in such an intensely protective yet gentle and soft way by someone as incredible as my darling love.

“Don’t worry about all that right now, okay? I’ll cook dinner for you. You need to rest.”
